Well, he wanted to be like his old man and now he is. I'm willing to bet that it doesnt feel the way he thought it would....

Sadists and sadists in the making are never happy unless they are pulling the wings off of a creature or filling another person with fear.

I have felt from the beginning Josh Young did this and his father covered it up but I have worried all along that the jury may believe JG since it is obvious he has convinced so many others of things in the past.

I thought the jury may let his murdering son go and think the way JG wants them to believe.

BUT today after seeing the amazing concise closing the Prosecutor put on I now have hope that true justice will be done for Trey and the very one who murdered him will finally be held accountable.

IMO

I'm going to check out HLN hope they got jury watch going.

According to a witness JY had bloodied clothes and a bloody bat. Witnesses state that JY admitted and boasted about killing Trey. JG pretty much alibied himself as to the actual swinging of the weapon by video taping and buying ciggies. Who else in that household besides JY would lure Trey out late at night?

I do think Trey was afraid of the dark and only because it was Trey asking did he go out. I do think Trey was afraid of JG. I think JY was angry that JG did not kill the kidnapped woman because they could not control her like they controlled the other women in their immediate neighborhood.

I hope to see JY trying to be a bad a$$ in the big boy slammer. He killed Trey and deserves to be punished.

Ok, I'm going to set the over/under on jury deliberations at 9 hours. What do you take?
#JoshYoung

Over nine hours. Both defense and prosecution have confused the jury. IMO

agree, they confused me also..............

May I ask why you feel they are confused?

I didn't know why some testimony was entered until today when the Prosecutor put it altogether for the jury in a very clear concise manner. Things I had not given much relevance to jumped out at me today when she linked everything together.

I pretty much found the defense attorney's closing today pretty typical for this type of case.

HLN finally got a verdict watch going on.

I think it'll be shorter.

I like the how the talking head lawyers on HLN who say that the defense created reasonable doubt add zilch to back up their statements while the opposing talking head attys who feel the state proved their case point out different witness statements from the trial. They back up their statements with support. Which makes the stronger argument?

This is a 6 men 6 women jury right? It will be interesting to hear their thoughts afterwards imo. If JY is really innocent and is found guilty, when he comes out of prison he his going to be a hardened criminal and scary as heck like his dad imo. Personally, I think he is guilty. I have seen little flashes of the not so young and innocent boy sitting at the defense table during breaks.

If #JoshYoung is convicted, he faces a life in prison sentence. But also, because he is a juvenile, he would be eligible for probation.

All the defense did was talk about Josh Gouker. Its the old strategy of 'LOOK!!!! over there and not over at our guilty defendant"

The red herring she mentioned in her closing was him pretending to murder Trey but she didn't even get that. The defense has been conned by him too.

Like yesterday I am having issues with WS loading the pages. Uggg! I am really trying to be patient, it can just get so frustrating at times.

I don't feel it will take 9 hrs to reach a verdict. I also don't think these people want to spend the night.

Really?

I thought he was being tried as an adult?

Four men, eight women on jury per HLN. (yes taken with a grain of salt)

Did you see him hide a smile when his dad was on the stand? It chilled me to the bone.

It was like he was thinking 'wow dad........good job.'

I think the women would believe JG over the men.

Just speculating though.
