I don't care how awful DM is as a lawyer. He's still better than those 2 fools he hired for the TB trial.

Don't know if this was discussed. Thinking of DM's comment about all the puss leaking out could be a description of LB decomposition.

From this page "human decomposition begins around four minutes after a person dies... Excess carbon dioxide causes an acidic environment, causing membranes in cells to rupture....Small blisters filled with nutrient-rich fluid begin appearing on internal organs and the skin’s surface. " http://www.aftermath.com/content/human-decomposition

MM was sitting there during that conversation. I don't think they'd be discussing LB with her in the room if MS sent her out of the garage to tell his buddies about the truth to his rap.

I think they were probably talking about an injury to someone, either one of them or something they'd seen on someone else, and it just takes on a sinister note considering when the conversation was taking place.

It could be a clean-out tool. I used something similar when I worked at KFC as a teenager. It was used to clean out the grease sludge at the bottom of the pressure cooker.

It is. There's a small door at the bottom of the incinerator that you open. You put the clean-out tool through the door to scrape the ash out of the bottom.

Just wanted to address this IPad thing again. I seem to recall that Falconer said there were 44 entries on the IPad prior to July 4th that were not brought into evidence. Anyone else remember this? So I'd have to assume that those entries were found on a back up on DM's computer or SL's? I also seem to remember that there was an agreed statement of facts that the IPad in MS's room was the same IPad that SL loaned to LB. Anyone else remember this? So for some reason whatever was on that IPad prior to the Apple ID user being changed is being kept out. Does that make sense?

And with regard to MS asking for the Apple ID, I also assumed that when the IPad was hooked up on the morning of July 4th, the apple ID user account was changed. Now the only way to do that would be to have the password for the old user or do a complete recovery. So either they had that password, did a complete recovery or the IPad didn't have an Apple ID assigned to it. But it appears that DM's Apple ID, from his IPhone, was entered into the IPad. But at 9:55pm that evening, MS was asking for the password because he probably wanted to download an app. So it couldn't have been MS who set up the IPad in the morning or he'd have known the Apple ID password.

There was no locking security on the iPad, #Millard gets Ryder to explain. "I didn't understand any of that," says Justice Code.

[email protected] was the FaceTime contact, not known whether used for visual/audio chats. Diplomatix was the Apple ID. #Babcock

Theoretically someone could go make a [email protected] address right? #Millard asks. Provided no one else uses that handle.

You can change the familiar iPad name but not the serial number, Ryder says. There is also a unique device # for cell network. #Babcock

And no doubt it was also used for TB but there are no pictures showing that so it stayed out of evidence. Perhaps it does have useful DNA evidence for this trial. That would be helpful.

Falconer doesn't think the iPad was called Mark's iPad before the backup on July 4th but it was possible. Judge understood the name was changed upon first connection. Falconer says he can't really know that.

See, even the judge thought so. This is not good. :notgood:
Just catching up. It shouldn't matter what the name is, it matches the serial number to SL iPad. It was Laura's.. Moo

Nigh -is _mine, maybe they did such a bad job representing him because they knew he was guilty and did not like him so they did not bother to do a good job. I would feel like my skin crawling to represent the likes of Barnardo , Rafferty or DM and MS. I feel sorry for the lawyers that are forced to by legal aid and in Dm's case it is very good that they probably made a million dollars and did a terrible job, and could have been intentional who knows. There was so much evidence that what could they do. They knew DM was a goof and yet he had a right to a trial. I am happy to see Tracy Rogers going to testify again. She was fantastic in first trial. Looks like Adam Carter s last day, he is the best. I did hear that MS may testify. In one way it would be good because if he admits that he knows Laura was killed by DM it at least gives closure to the BAbcock family, right now there is no proof she is deceased. Then they have closure as horrible as it is.
