Did I read there was a dumpster on fire somewhere?Does anyone know the story, time and area this was at?What was that story all about?

There is a dumpster fire thread.
FBI and investigators went to the landfill the next day and searched the contents of the dumpster. No baby Lisa.

Hopefully the large carpet removed from the house will yield additional evidence, to whatever else LE may have at this point.

Sadly, with the information regarding the cadaver dogs, I believe it is highly improbable little Lisa is still alive. However, trying to convince a jury on "dog scent" and suspicious coincidences alone could be disastrous.

:(

Thank You for reminding me LE took a large piece of carpet from the house. They need more than just cadaver dog hits. I pray they find Lisa soon. The phones, I don't understand what's important on them, but I believe LE is doing a great job.

I'm wondering which other relative got dragged into the disposing and cover-up, so I guess I'm slowly falling off the fence.

One thing I know for sure, if I had done anything to any one of my daughters, my husband would have turned me in, no problem! And vis-versa too!

Mine too. And we have been married for almost 30 years now. But IF I had ever dared to call him at work to say one of the kids was dead, and I needed him to come help me dispose of them----OMG. Forget it.

The same with my brothers. My older brother has done me some massive favors over the years. He is a great guy and very caring and family oriented. But If I called him for a favor that included a dead child, accident or not--No Way.

It is hard for me to believe that she could have just called in a favor like that, no questions asked.

"there is nothing wrong with adult time"

Sorry DB BUT your job as a mommy doesn't stop when the sun sets at night. You should not be home drinking and getting drunk when you should be caring for 3 children alone at home. You do not place a baby in a crib at 640pm and never check on her again or only check on her at 1030pm again. Taking care of a baby is 24/7, being a mother isn't a 8-5 job. Especially when a baby is sick, your up all night long taking care of the baby.
A baby 10 month old doesn't go to bed at 640pm until the next day. She will likely have 1-2 more feedings before sleeping through the night if Baby Lisa does sleep through the night, some babies her age do not.

Also, the L&O SVU eposide from Wed night made me think of this case. I think that maybe she bought baby supplies at the store fully knowing Baby Lisa wasn't alive anymore, to make it believe she was. Who was watching Baby Lisa and other kids while at the store the beginning of that night? I find it hard to believe the first overnight shift of his work she gets kidnapped. Everything is pointing to these parents, so sad!
Sorry if this is not where I should write this.

This is where I am stuck as well...you would have to be one truly dysfunctional family to be able to call a sibling, for example, for help in disposing of an infant and then adhering to this scheme. A husband, perhaps, but only if he had some culpability. Still, it seems so bizarre for any two adults to agree to do something like this. This is why I never have believed that Terri Horman, if she is guilty, had an accomplice. JMO

For peeps who think there are photos/videos on the phone(s) What do you think those photos and videos show ?

interaction with another possible person of interest that I have no idea who that could be... or something to back up what officers have in evidence already like a lover etc from texts, interviews, etc....:twocents:

That is why I'm on the fence with JI. I think his public attitude is he just doesn't want to believe she did anything, but he is suspicious of DB. He is either helping LE or waiting for them to confirm his suspicions.

Im sitting right next to you... Nobody wants to believe the person you sleep next to killed your baby...even more when you love them.. IMO

And I think his eyes are being opened little by little, day by day.

He seems more analytical. I mean, he ticked off all the lights that were on in the interview with MK. Two lights in the kitchen, lamp on the livingroom accent light and light in the pumpkin. I have to think his analytical mind was ticking off all the inconsistencies with the story. Or I could be wrong and he is a beneficial assistant in the coverup. Something tells me that he wasn't, though. I dunno...

Don't be so quick to judge until you have walked in their shoes. Click on the following link to see how easily LE can hinder an investigation if they form a myopic view.

take it back mamaK:rocker:

He's gotten into an old movie so it's not worth it... Especially when he'll probably fall asleep in about 15-20 minutes anyway. :p

I believe there are a couple of possibilities why the phones are missing: 1) there is a call/text at 2:38am (possibly a 'disposable' (untraceable) phone at the other end of the communication?) and/or 2) it confuses the crime scene to have both the baby and the cell phones missing; an attempt to stage the scene that the kidnapper took them to prevent someone inside the house from calling 911.

Yeah, his crack about women who cheat on their husbands was enough for me to question his stoicism. Makes me wonder about Lisa's biology too... :(

I hear you on that. But, in my marriage if my husband didn't have rock solid hard core proof that I did something to cause the death of one of our children directly he 1. would only believe it if there was irrefutable evidence that could not be explained by any other reason 2. stand by me and have my back until they proved it to him.

But I don't know JI or DB's relationship.

Funny you brought up the possibility of another person because last night I was watching a show and it was about a teenage girl who murdered another girl while a boy was in the car (can't recall victims name I was half watching it, and I had seen it before too) they went and got another friend to help them dismember the victim. I sat thinking to myself who does that carp?

I think it's a possibility that she had help in disposing of Lisa. I don't know who but it's possible. People do some strange things. JMHO
