I'm gonna go take a smoke break. In the olden days when out to dinner we'd light a cigarette and our meal would show up ;)

The deliberations of the Colorado jury that found Patrick Frazee guilty of killing his child's mother were quite short: just a couple hours. (This was also a no body case, where the defendant boasted to a friend, "no body, no murder.") However, if I recall correctly, people on WS panicked when the jury requested that surveillance video taken in the condo be replayed for them. Shortly after that, they returned their verdict of guilty. I always wondered if one or more jurors just wanted to stretch out the time a little bit more in the interests of not appearing to rush to judgment.
I do sometimes wonder if there are ever cases where the jury just goes, "So we all agree they're guilty, right? Okay, let's just sit for a bit so it seems like we're taking our time. Shall we ask a question so it looks like we're thinking about it?"

I'm going to walk to the mailbox. But I'll take my laptop. Give my neighbors a reason to side eye me.

This was me during the conclave, doing my food shop but having my phone out in Sainsbury's so I could keep an eye on the Vatican chimney live stream lmao (I'm not even Catholic)

not sure with the holiday approaching. Judge might hold them past dinner if she gets a feeling they are getting close to a verdict.

Fair. I wish them rest and recovery.

I hope BW enjoys a majorly stressful weekend.

I predict a quick verdict on Monday.

I can understand if they're hung up on premeditation.

I hope that, somehow, the jurors are able to totally put the case out of their minds over the weekend and have a good rest. I'm sure they need it!
