Just got in and caught up. I'm shocked, but not suprised if that makes sense

Looks like this coward wants to have his case kicked to the feds, so he doesn't have to sit in jail? Sorry &ackass, you're not going to be detained in a federal facility. Eventually you'll end up in a nice crowded State prison.

Thank God he was stupid enough to provide LE the Google searches, then lie about his whereabouts. It's like he thinks people will just take him at his word?

Hopefully he also provided LE with enough of a trail, they will be able to find Ana.

Personally, I think it wasn't really appropriate to have that drone filming at that facility... live no less.
Imagine a family member seeing that. And what if they uncovered something obviously awful and visible during that search.
Just my take....

All I can think is he thought he was so convincing and his story of her trip was so air tight that police would never question him and not look in the house or his computer. I can’t decide if he’s incredibly narcissistic or incredibly stupid.

<snipped>
Sources tell Boston 25 Investigative Reporter Ted Daniel that Brian Walshe lived an affluent lifestyle. He used to host dinners for groups in Boston that cost $20,000 and more. According to sources, Walshe claimed to have made his money creating a software program in college.
Pathological liar!!

The search in Peabody is underway due to the possibility that he may have disposed of something in a dumpster at his mother’s house in Swampscott, according to sources.

The tagline says this is a Transfer Station, the picture shown is a MRF sorting Line. If he put her in a recycling bin, she will be found quickly. Trash bin, will take a little longer, but if they catch the loads before they go to the landfill ...

He's an idiot that is incredibly narcissistic. Look no further than his treatment of his dad and his estate.

ETA: Also, doing stupid things with an ankle monitor.

[...]

Investigators found evidence connected to the disappearance of Ana Walshe while combing through trash at a transfer station on Newbury Street in Peabody, CBS Boston reported. News footage taken by the station’s cameras showed investigators in protective gear looking through the waste. K-9 units were also observed.

[...]

The search also included a dumpster that was moved there from the Swampscott apartment complex where Brian Walshe’s mother lives, according to WCVB.

[...]

CNN reported on Jan. 9 that investigators found searches in Brian Walshe’s internet history for “how to dispose of a 115-pound woman’s body” and for information on how to dismember a body. ...

I don't believe for a moment that what he says is true, but I've spaced out and missed a turn... then got turned around on unfamiliar roads trying to correct the missed turn... heading to my MIL (where I've been 100 times).

So one answer is... me.
but, but, but...

according to his mother's support letter in his fraud trial he visited her VERY often..he was SUCH a good son. Visited her time and time again. That was back in 2018 or 2019. Now she is still in the same place several years later. The dutiful son would surely be visiting her regularly. How could he get lost??
I'm sure it's an innocent mistake, right? <oofff>

How otherwise intelligent humans can fall for personality-disordered sociopaths...
Love is blind.

Complete speculation MOO but perhaps when AW called her Mom on 12/20 asking her to fly to the US the next day, AW was contemplating leaving BW and needed help with the children? Maybe she sensed something and was trying to get to a safe place? MOO
Agree. That was also my sense moo

Tyvek? Not plastic electrical ties which I could understand.. but Tyvek? Look at and think about the many uses, properties and cost of Tyvek here on this advertisement. Tarps are the next expensive items on his list but they don't come near to bringing the price up to $450.00. If my assumption is correct about the high cost of body disposal supplies in comparison to less expensive cleaning supplies, then why would anyone need to buy that much Tyvek when disposing of a body? Never mind why he bought so much ... how about what plan did he have in mind when he bought it all? I'm out of the loop and need some education on this Tyvek thing.

I had sneakers made of Tyvek.
Waterproof.

The video at link has information - it isn't a "dumpster" being searched. It's a roll-off compactor box. Sounds like they dumped the box at the transfer station and are now going through it. This should be quick if she's there.

I thought she said that she was at HIS house (Police also there) for about 8 hours on a particular day. ? Which day
At the hearing she said she was at his house with police for 12 hours a day, but then today HE was at HER house. I think she meant the past few days while LE was investigating she was there but during today's search, everyone had to leave the home.

Someone else mentioned they could be neighbors or friends first. It just struck me as odd because 1) attorneys try to maintain some separation or your clients can get overly dependent and 2) it can be dangerous because you never know if someone will blame you for something that happens in the case. So I thought it was weird to hear.

I had to Google it. They look like dumpsters to me but I'm not a waste management consultant like Tony Soprano

Just thinking of the boys tonight as they are likely bedded down in a strange (to them) location around people they do not know. Feeling sad for them. :(
