If the fire was in fact accidental, then it seems possible it could have started due to a chemical reaction of cleaning agents. MOO

I believe the fire was at their old house but the cleaning/blood was at the house they were currently renting.

Ah, TY! I didn't realize there were two houses involved.

Wompatuck State Park is along the road to Brockton. But I agree, Brockton is a tough area and he could have either taken her there. If he went to HD on the 2nd, it's probable that her body was gone by then. It was the day before that he travelled to Abington and then Brockton, so my guess is that he disposed of her somewhere in that area. Might be worth a walk about in that park. I don't know how frozen the ground is, but he doesn't look capable of digging a hole.

bbm:
According to prosecutors, there are records of Brian Walshe going to various commercial stores on the day Ana Walshe went missing, including Home Depot, Whole Foods and CVS, and did not inform police of his whereabouts.

Police were not actually informed by Brian Walshe that Ana was missing, however, as previously stated; just Ana’s employer informed police of her missing.
...

So was it his monitor that led to "records" of him going to various stores? omg. What an idiot.
And BW wasn't the one that reported her missing first. ok, got that.
I assume it was his doting mother that saw Ana leave at 4am????
BW sounds like a real criminal genius (sarcasm):

- Leaves a paper trail when buying an abnormal about of cleaning supplies the day Ana went missing (presumably either by using his credit/debit card or not taking off his ankle monitor)

- After spending a boatload of money on cleaning supplies, he proceeds to leave a bloody knife in the basement

- (Presumably) has his mom lie for him (either knowingly or unknowingly) about Ana leaving at 4 a.m. to get a ride to the airport when there are no records of any rides nor any taxis/cars captured on surveillance footage

And I thought it was a lot when we spent about $150 on cleaning supplies when we were cleaning our house to sell it.

I wonder what he got?

Also I am going to guess the knife was either hidden or stuck somewhere he didn't think anyone would look. I doubt he cleaned the whole basement and then just left it on the floor.

He must have been driving the Volvo at some point since LE impounded it. Do we have any idea of the year and if the car has GPS? I think LE has a lot to work with but it's still a challenge as to what he did with her.

I know in the court hearing they specifically mentioned mops and a tarp. There were some other specific things mentioned but I can't remember off the top of my head.

There should be a PCA for the lying to investigators charge, correct?

You know, if he bought tarps and tape, could she still be in home or on the property somewhere?

wouldn't his monitor he had on during this time show where he went specifically and all they have to do is follow the trail?

The federal court filings say they were living at his mother's rental. Today in court, they said he was going to visit his mom in Swampscott.

Except that he bought tarps & tape at Home Depot… only one thing in my mind he would use those for sadly. MOO

Wasn't the fire in the former residence and the cleanup needed in the present residence?

What am I missing? Has a PC been filed on the details of why he was arrested for misleading the Police? Someone mentioned witness intimidation? Is there a link to the Press conference where investigators spoke? I am seeing Twitter links. Appreciate any LE source information available. This is horrible.

Just FYI, his MIL does not live with them currently, but his mother might…

Jeez. Dulos all over again. JMO
IMO Luckily this guy I think was more spur of the moment than Fotis. He had to contend with the aftermath is a very hasty fashion. With his bloated appearance imo I wonder if there could perhaps be any over indulgence issues affecting his judgment - must get awful boring being on house arrest when you are used to being a bonvivant. And if you hav three kids tagging after you there are lots of distractions ALL IMO

Also wondering what's up with the mother's house in Swampscott ? Maybe she lives in Cohasset when Ana is in DC to look after kids and just pays the rent since he has no money ? ALL IMO

Did his lawyer say he was at her house during one of the searches ? And is that normal for a lawyer and client relationship? It seems peculiar to me JMO

We're sure had a couple lately who could have authored Spousal Murder For Dummies. It would be subtitled Planning Your Prison Future.
