If she was doing the speed limit, it would take a min of 6-7 min via either of 3 different routes according to Google Maps. If she was going twice the speed limit, she'd make it in a minimum of 3-3.5 minutes. I doubt she was going that fast, maybe 5 miles over speed at best. I think someone claiming she could make it in 4 minutes in a snow storm is a stretch. I wonder if the so-called "black box" will show how fast she was driving?
Yeah, there’s simply no way, especially in a storm. It’s a ridiculous thought, IMO.

81 Percent of the poll is saying Jen is not believable. On Court TV.
IMO she’s lost all credibility at best. And I think AJ has done a marvelous job on insinuating to the jury that she was concealing her movements and actions around the time of John’s death and immediately after.

  • #143
Brian Albert is the one guiding Jen.
Agree. When the FBI knocked, Brian Albert was immediately on her 'must-call-now' list, except she "forgot" to tell the federal agents she made that call. Then hubby Matt, comes home and advises she better correct that. Moo, Matt obviously knew the feds have their ways and she would be caught lying eventually so no help for it. Jmo

So you think a drunk woman ran someone over, processed that instantly with 0 shock or reaction, fled the scene flawlessly in the snow without hitting anything other than John, and made a clean getaway with no panic, no hesitation, and no crash, all in 4 minutes? Because that does not sound particularly plausible to me. IMO, that premise sounds more like a modern day Agatha Christie novel. Karen must be a very talented driver!
I don’t think she realized she hit him. She floored it in reverse to scare him, hit him, torment him, or who knows why. She previously stated her music was blaring. I don’t think she knew she hit him.

All MOO

So I feel silly for asking but I seem to forgot why the time she got back is important anyway. Other people came before an after she did .

No, on his back. It's not clear what JMc was saying in 911 call or the context jmo. I don't think this is an issue. Testimony of first responders was on his back and this is not contested by cw. Not an issue. Moo
I can’t find an official written transcript.

Dispatcher: What’s going on? Is he face down?
JM: Um. We just flipped him over.

This is infuriating...
If the answer is always the same then why doesn't she just answer the question? She can't give just a simple answer.

  • #149
Has lying worked for JM all her life??? Hope jury sees through her. She is not interested in the truth about her "friend" John. She is interested in something else.

Nicole did not wake up after 3 phone calls when the phone was in bed with her....hard to believe.
It's hard to believe a mother of how many kids would have her phone on silent (if that was the case). Especially after they testified last trial they always kept the door unlocked in case someone forgot their keys. Parents want to know their kids are home safely. And that requires having your phone ringing loud and clear just in case they need you. I call BS to Coco Puff not picking up at 05:07.

Because the CW is alleging the strike happened at a specific time, 12:32AM. She connected to John’s home WiFi at 12:36 AM. So if she could not have possibly driven to John’s home from 34 Fairview in 4 minutes, and we know that her personal device was connected to John’s WiFi - that she was definitely at his house at 12:36 AM - that strongly implies that she was not at the scene at the time when the CW is claiming a car strike occurred.

I ask this in good faith - then how do you explain that Karen’s vehicle did not have body damage consistent with a car strike, and how do you explain that John cannot be definitively said to be hit by a car?

BA said they slept with phones because they had kids....and wanted to make sure they answered their phones.

As i noted, she only need average 34.5 mph
I doubt she was even doing 30 mph, but then we don't actually know do we? JMOO

No one other than Karen Read has been charged with killing Officer John O’Keefe.

The defendant…

On 1/28/2022, started drinking in the afternoon
The defendant bombarding John O’Keefe w/text messages and he is clear about the relationship being over
The defendant shows up at the bar after gaslighting John via texting that afternoon about a plumber, orders several vodka sodas mixing her own drinks to make them stronger. Total of nine vodkas!

On 1/29/2025, on the way to 34F, they argue, park out front of 34F, O’Keefe exits the defendant's SUV, she puts the SUV in reverse, hits the gas pedal and began to accelerate up to 75% acceleration (ADA Brennan's opening)
Waze app stopped at exactly the same spot of where John’s body was found by the defendant.

Continuing the defendant…

The defendant called her parents at 1:00 am, 4:40 am & 4:42 am. The 1st two calls went unanswered, but the third call was picked up.

The defendant woke John’s niece that morning, defendant is pacing down the hallway, asking what could’ve happened, maybe I did something. Later she said, maybe a snowplow hit him.

The defendant called JMc @4:53 am.
The defendant also calls KerR @5am, screaming, John’s dead!

@5:07am the defendant backs out of John’s driveway and baby tabs John’s Chevy.

The defendant goes canvassing (she stated for 20 mins) around the neighborhood looking for John. Where did she go?

<modsnip - unapproved source>

Around 6 am the women met up.

She says "Did I hit him," "Could I have hit him", over and over again, and shows off her broken taillight to two of the women.

The defendant is concerned about whether John is at Bella’s mom’s house or is he at another woman’s house.

All three women arrive at John’s house, and both women take their shoes off, but not the defendant, the defendant leaves her shoes on. The defendant also does not go through the house looking for John, unlike the other two women who are searching for John. Everyone knew how John was about not wearing shoes in his house.

They leave John's house, and the three women head over to 34F (at the defendant’s instructions) the defendant wants out of the vehicle screaming there he is; and the women see nothing, its dark, there is no lighting, but let her out of the car anyway. In addition, it blizzard conditions, yet the defendant founds John under a mound of snow.

First Aid is rendered.

First responders arrive. The defendant repeatedly says, “I hit him, I hit him, I hit him.”

Karen’s family arrive at John’s house to gather her belongings and allegedly delete damning evidence from Ring camera.

This is a small portion of information about the case, theres so much more. The defendant already admitted to saying "I know I said, I hit him." Defendant admitted to many things in interviews that are very telling. She knew John was dead at 5 am.

A collage of video footage of the defendant's admissions would serve well to be shown in trial.

Most important, ADA Brennan is bringing it all together. It’s the totality of the evidence. The science and data matter.

Facts win cases; and ADA Brennan is bringing in the facts.

Matter of opinion and also, information reported by msm
Completely agree. I’m just not sure about them deleting the ring video.
I think Jenn’s text referencing Bella’s house enraged Karen. I think they were fighting about that. And Karen’s angry voicemails stated she believed he was f-ing someone and called him a pervert. Something set her off on the drive from the bar to 34 Fairview. I think it was the Bella comment.

All MOO

Wonder what's up ?

She makes herself look so shady playing this game with him.
Jenn for the love of God, just do your best to answer a direct question, use yes or no if he asks you to do that. Why pretend that your current memory is better than it was ?
She definitely come across as having an agenda and her distaste for Karen is palpable.
She has overplayed her hand
IMO

Yesterday they had to attend to Paul O'Keefe and his face making. Today it is probably juror related, just a guess

I’m gonna need specific sources for a LOT of these points.

There was no snowstorm.

I'd think the digital evidence shows what it shows.
