Gallagher....a cop without a clue.
And he makes so much money a year. 330,000+
I hope they have on line applications.
I just need sterile paper bags to appear more qualified .
And they are not allowed to do their own work. As a protocol.
I bet the whole jury feels high and like they are in a weird world.

The solo cups were placed right behind the right light, where coincidentally John's DNA was found.

Judge ... do we always let in extra ad lib or nah?

AJ is now showing photo of Karen’s Lexus. There is a white rag/paper on the ground by the Lexus in the sallyport.

AJ is now showing a paper bag - the stop and shop bag with 6 samples. The paper towel/rag is in the background of the photo. A tire is visible.

Next photographs - exhibit 56 and 57. Showing that the rag/towel is visible in the photograph yet again.

These are the only photographs of the bag with solo cups and evidence inside. The photos were taken within 2 1/2 feet of Karen’s vehicle.

AJ is now going over basic chain of custody now. Pointing out that none of that was done with the solo cups. Pointing out that none of this is forensically stable.

Kill shot. AJ is now pointing out that there was unsecured blood evidence incredibly close to the right rear end of Karen’s car. Calls it a ‘recipe for cross contamination.’

Gallagher never saw the bag in the refrigerated evidence locker for THREE days. I think AJ has done a great job pointing out the GLARING issues in the initial investigation.

The Sixth Amendment guarantees the rights of criminal defendants to a fair trial; so common sense would ask why defense not playing fair... their client is a criminal defendant. jmo

Bbm

Read's lawyers said at the time that the crash experts were not hired by the defense. But before court was suspended Tuesday, Brennan told the court that he had obtained a bill from ARCCA to the defense for $23,925. He also said there are emails between Read's team and the ARCCA experts, with Wolfe telling the defense in one instance "if you don't want me to say this, that's fine."

"That's not trial by ambush, that's getting duped," Brennan said.

And as we have explained, but critical reading must not be happening, their testimony was offered to the prosecution as worded in court records. Their summary wasn't what the prosecution wanted to hear, so they didn't want to pay their share.

What AJ is really trying to discredit is SERT finding and documenting the tail light recovery later on. The recovery of tail light from the scene that day, plus the later discovery of fragments in John's shirt is game over.

So in addition to the fight, and Jen's spontaneous coverup, he needs you to believe that was staged by yet more officers.

As that third leg of the conspiracy is also completely unbelievable, I think he seeks to just make it all untrustworthy so jurors might throw their arms in the air. But at the end of the day, nothing about any solo cups dislodges the discovery of tail light at the scene same day.

MOO
The arguement that the shards found had to have been planted because they ALL weren't found right away, at the same time. This ignores the fact that a lot of snow had fallen from the time KR and JO first arrived to when JO was spotted by KR many hours later. One of KR's friends with her at the time JO was found said when his body was removed she could see some grass under his body. The snow continued to fall after that and accumulate. Maybe the LA lawyers just don't understand the weather?

"Doggie prints?" 😂

Jackson is dragging trial out…his line of questioning is questionable. He is losing the jurors with the tediously slow and boring cross. jmo
Au contraire my friend. If you have already written him off, that may be all you hear. But for those listening, he has shown that DNA evidence and Karen’s vehicle were not properly stored - huge, considering the potential of cross contamination and/or tampering. And the jury is listening.

Wow. The Lexus was NOT PHOTOGRAPHED on 1/29/22 or 1/30/22.
IMO it's no wonder the citizens of Canton, MA are up in arms over this extremely poor police work. They deserve better! Such an embarrassment!

No the video evidence of the tail light as shown to this point .
Maybe the new evidence will come into play , I will see ,and etc.

I thought it was a very strange argument from Lt. Gallagher to insinuate that taking a photo of Karen’s car as it came in was outside of his scope, even though they had only been recused from investigative interviews.

Just wondering… Does anyone know if they use red solo cups for evidence collection in Alaska? Cause, you know, they have snowy weather there too.

Now that I’m thinking about it - why photograph the evidence in the sallyport at all, rather than bringing it directly into the locker?

ETA: For all we know, someone could have adjusted a cup, sneezed, and used Karen’s car to balance with how close it was to the cup evidence. That opens them up to WAY more reasonable doubt than just photographing in the evidence locker would have.

Even though canton pd was not investigating the case, the car was stored in the canton garage. It would seem that the car should have been photographed to document it's condition when stored there since canton wasn't the investigating agency. JMOO

This.

"McCabe testified that she heard Read say "I hit him, I hit him, I hit him" with a first responder nearby at the scene of O'Keefe's death. Jackson attempted to show that McCabe never told a grand jury that information during her testimony in April 2022."

I don't think I have laughed more than I did during the questioning of Gallagher. Keystone cops to the max. Poster Boy for WHAT NOT TO DO during a police investigation.
