There are too many holes in the Canton PDs theory. The fact a Boston Police officer Never came out of his home tells me he knew something!!! The sirens would have been flashing through his windows. As an emergency personal he should have been out there.
I'm from that area and I feel she was definitely set up! Boston boys will always cover for each other.

No one interviewed Higgins in the aftermath. Wow. Seems like AJ is leaning towards Higgins as an alternate aggressor in trial 2.

"No one could put John O'Keefe in the house including Ms. Read." - Lt. Gallagher

Gallagher never saw the bag in the refrigerated evidence locker for THREE days. I think AJ has done a great job pointing out the GLARING issues in the initial investigation.

Same here, he did a great job. I do wish he had asked *why* Gallagher brought the bag of solo cups out of the fridge and into the sally port next to the SUV to have it photographed.

So they just assumed John’s glass was from Waterfall.

Defense is so afraid of the clips being played. Still waiting for clip 17. Wonder why Judge Cannone didnt allow it last Fri. The CW was getting ready to play clip 18, and then side bar. woo-hoo, moo.

The arguement that the shards found had to have been planted because they ALL weren't found right away, at the same time. This ignores the fact that a lot of snow had fallen from the time KR and JO first arrived to when JO was spotted by KR many hours later. One of KR's friends with her at the time JO was found said when his body was removed she could see some grass under his body. The snow continued to fall after that and accumulate. Maybe the LA lawyers just don't understand the weather?
Or maybe the CW lawyers just don’t understand the rules of evidence?

The only one that battered John O’Keefe is on trial for killing him. jmo

I don't think I have laughed more than I did during the questioning of Gallagher. Keystone cops to the max. Poster Boy for WHAT NOT TO DO during a police investigation.
I did feel that Gallagher sounded credible BUT you are so right! Why were there no reports? Why did he feel that he needed to handle the scene so delicately (snow-blower) but did not feel he had a "crime scene" at that time? Why could he not tell the court who the lead investigator was? Why put blood evidence in red solos cups without any covering, etc.? Why does he not honestly tell the court that the tape was red BECAUSE it was critical evidence? So, that said, I felt that he was not dishonest but definitely made the investigation feel like a joke. Commentator Koury said "they did the best they could do" at the time... Hmmmm... idk

And Gallagher was able to accomplish all that after being an officer for over 30 yrs.
Imagine if he didn't resign and had a few more years under his belt? lol

Now that I’m thinking about it - why photograph the evidence in the sallyport at all, rather than bringing it directly into the locker?

ETA: For all we know, someone could have adjusted a cup, sneezed, and used Karen’s car to balance with how close it was to the cup evidence. That opens them up to WAY more reasonable doubt than just photographing in the evidence locker would have.
Reasonable doubt does not need to be opened . I think it needs to be closed.
I think if reasonable doubt is there ,it is there . Jamming the doors as it should.

I'm still on the fence.
I believe that the injuries are definitely dog bites. What's to say that JOK was hit and killed and then the dog got out and chewed on him? Nevertheless, I still don't think they can convict. I just don't see it being "beyond reasonable doubt"...

I’d have way more respect for Gallagher if he acknowledged the fumbles Canton PD made instead of trying to double down and insist they did the right thing.

Just wondering… Does anyone know if they use red solo cups for evidence collection in Alaska? Cause, you know, they have snowy weather there too.
The murder rate is crazy when compared to the rest of the U.S .
I see why you are questioning them.

Also, love that AJ had it put on record that Gallagher did not see Chloe when he went inside 34 Fairview…

ARCCA determined he was not hit by a car and his injuries were not caused by a car. Their expert testimony.

The pattern of bites on his arm would look different if it was postmortem. As is, the dog bites show an arm the was in a position to fight off the dog. The bites and scratches are trending downward. It didn’t happen postmortem. Not even the CW has thrown this theory out.

ETA: That last sentence came out spicier than I intended. It’s good to ask questions and analyze the scene. Both the CW and the defense are 100% in agreement that the wounds on JOK’s arm are not postmortem.
