Just getting to catch up on posts from today but I was able to stream the trial all day.
The “blue wall” KR has suggested she is up against was on full display today. I truly hope the CW and the MSP realize how absolutely terrible Bukhenik was today. His testimony was a disgusting display of the lack of integrity their “leaderless team” has. I was dumbfounded learning he would stand behind Proctor and fully defend him on everything. There is a reason Proctor was fired and as his supervisor, Bukhenik should now be fired as well. They can not undo the harm they caused today as they validated the mistrust so many already have in our justice system. I was truly saddened watching his testimony today. All imo of course.

So true. I was actually hurting for Bukhenik as I've never seen such floundering other than fish on a hook... He is the best witness the defense has had yet. The prosecutors seem kind of clueless as well because they're actually calling these witnesses.

This happened the first trial too. It seemed like the prosecution’s witnesses were actually witnesses for the defense. Just think, the defense hasn’t even presented their case yet!

Yuri and Michael Proctor went to the McCabe residence around 11am and interviewed Jen, Matt and Brian Albert

Then they went to Good Samaritan hospital to view John O’Keefe’s body and injuries.

Yuri stated he noticed one of John’s sneakers were missing so he connected the dots from his prior knowledge and said he thought JOK was hit by a vehicle.

Instead of going to 34F to conduct surveillance or look for video footage of said vehicle strike, Yuri and Proctor went straight to Karen’s parents house in Dighton to seize her Lexus.

No. My brother in law is a retired law enforcement officer. He said LE will arrive and find clothes bagged. He said they can't do anything about what happens to them before they get there, but after they get there they are cataloged documented and separated into evidence bags.

Karen Read is presumed innocent in law until is so proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

In common law, (again not just USA but UK, Canada, Aus, NZ, R of I) a defendant is generally not compelled to testify against themselves. This right, known as the privilege against self-incrimination, protects individuals from being forced to provide evidence that could expose them to criminal prosecution. It's a core aspect of the right to silence and ensures a fair trial.
In the US specifically, this even included in the constitution as the fifth amendment, which protects against self-incrimination, meaning a defendant cannot be compelled to testify. If a defendant chooses to testify, they waive their right to remain silent and can be cross-examined by the prosecution. Whether a defendant testifies or not, it cannot be held against them.

You seem to be holding her employing her constitutional and common law rights against her.

Jen Mccabe has admitted to falsely speaking to FBI agents, which she described as a failure of memory, less than 30 mins after calling 5 people and saying she only called 2. Oddly enough after her husband had a conversation with her, one might surmise that he reminded her that the FBI would have access to he phone logs.

Another story changes today. The defendant changes her story now claiming she saw John O’Keefe go into the house. This contradicts earlier statements made.

Additionally, she really didnt answer the question about whether she deleted the Ring video.

It was a yes or no question. She did not answer with a yes or no.

I hope Brennan tries to get this inconsistent statement admitted into evidence.

IMO it is very obvious that these guys have a very different definition of honor and integrity than the rest of us. For them, it is all about saving each others skin no matter what and nothing to do with actual truth or justice.

Brennan showed how the defendant clearly attempted to stage her tail light damage by backing into John at a very low speed - you can see her intentionally turn into him through the front window. But the critical step Lally missed in T1 is as she drives away, you can clearly see that the right tail light section is already broken out because of the colour AND the shape

Brennan will also point out that the ring video footage shows no tail light pieces on the ground. Indeed in any of the videos.

As much as AJ will throw chum in the waters on X, this kills any possibility that Proctor somehow staged the tail light from the Sally Port. It was already missing large pieces long before any police of Kerry and Jen came over. Then corroborated by the dashcam at 8.23am and the later Sally Port photos. All consistent.

I'd also note, Karen has multiple friendlies who saw the tail light in the ring videos - will the defence be calling these critical eye witnesses to testify as to the condition of the tail light? Surely they can confirm her version?

Regarding what I've bolded above.

1) It's you opinion Lally demonstrated the 5.08am backing up was deliberate. In reality no clear evidence was presented for your "staged" conspiracy theory. Given the circumstances we are privy to, the defendant's panic and so forth, I find the contention ridiculous. This is far more likely to be an accident. Jmo

2) It's up to the jurors to decide what that 5.08am video shows in terms of tail light damage. Your opinion is not a fact.
