Alessi is asking SB about the scientific method. Talking about how important the scientific method is within forensics, and how important the accuracy is when findings will be presented in court. He’s now talking about reliability, credibility and honestly. We’re back. My stream runs a bit behind.
Alessi is crossing Mr. Burgess.
SB agrees that the scientific method prevents scientific bias. Alessi talking about ‘confirmation bias’ (selectively gathering evidence) and ‘anchor bias’ (prioritizing info&data that supports the initial interpretation of evidence, even if it’s unknown that the initial interpretation is correct).
Going hard talking about biases.
