I should have added that how did Brennen think this would not be discovered?? smh.

IMO, he was counting on Judge Cannone to " I'll allow it".....
didn't work out so well there, did it now Hank?

The kind of tail light covers Lexus has are a carbon fiber material with an epoxy coating (simular compounds are used in bikes, tents, many things) In very cold weather it's the epoxy that binds the carbon fibers that may degrade and breakdown creating small fractures, weakening it and making it susceptible to breakage...especially when you then factor in the force of an impact. JO did have a glass in his hand too. Also, there's bone and muscle behind that skin.

Anyone know what the wind chill was in that area of the state that day/night?
Respectfully, the taillight lens cover on the Lexus of KR is IIUC a polycarbonate plastic. AFAIK it is not accurate to indicate it or describe it as a carbon fiber as they differ. And to my understanding the lens cover itself would not be constructed with laid up carbon fiber. The latter materials are typically obtained from polyacrylonitile (PAN) which are further process into carbon fiber. That differs from polycarbonate. To my knowledge carbon fiber materials are also not typically transparent or translucent such as desired in a taillight, or headlight lens covering.

With all their money, this is the best the Commonwealth of Massachusetts could do?

Unbelievable. Brennan didn't even bother to vet this hired gun!
You reap what you sow. Lol!!!

I did not think it could get much worse for the cw - boy was I wrong- rock bottom - its your damn expert Brennan - how do you rehab this?
Are you gonna to scream at him "Did you know when you wrote that report that Jen McCabe said KR said "I hit him I hit him"?
And Brennan told the court that this expert needed to revise bc of an error in a report given to them by the defense - Has Brennan not met Alessi - Brennan did not think this would all come out ?
I would ask that they let the guy off the stand - I'm actually worried about his mental health after this
episode with thousands watching - how is he going to make a living?

It's hard to believe that rock bottom wouldn't be the firing of the lead investigator, but we've definitely reached a new low.

We may be about to find out if it's actually possible to die of embarrassment. Or for the ground to swallow him up. While the world watches, eating popcorn.

He doesn’t seem one bit bothered by this outing. Even quite proud that he thinks he came up with the product he produced in this trial.

I think I would Google that for you, except my mind is spinning from that train wreck we saw today.

I might have to have a glass wine and come back later. 🤔

If the Commonwealth had an actual case against Read, they wouldn't need to hire lying losers like this guy as an "expert".

The jury can disregard all of this testimony and and this will taint Aperture completely. Emily D. Baker said in her stream today that she's never seen anything like this. Shock and horror.

Were bones broken? Was there damage to muscles? I missed that.

"Do you think Brennan’s attack on ARCCA as lacking credibility for being int he tank for the defense will be a little impressive to jurors? There are so many layers to the damage being done by the defense’s destruction of Burgess and Aperture."

I don’t understand how he has testified in numerous trials previously and his “academic dishonesty” has never been revealed.

Probably because other entities who have retained him took his fake CV at face value.

Safe to say his career as a hired gun is over. Even if he does go back to school and get that BS degree.

BS indeed.

I missed most of his testimony - what did he lie about?

So, if Burgess refuses to come back tomorrow, would he be in contempt?
IMO.

He'll be back.

Last paycheck he may see in awhile.

I feel he would believe it would be well worth it. Big meetings between him and others tonight. IMO

How is it possible Brennan is doing a WORSE job than Lally did, how do you put this liar on the stand and not know he’s going to be embarrassed and, the trial is already awful for the CW, make your prosecution even worse?

What is Brennan getting paid for this, there’s absolutely no way the CW gets conviction, what a waste of money moo

Do you think Alessi had this CV info last week or even earlier? If he did, it was an epic set up for Bev and Brennan.

“Oh no please don’t let Burgess present this devastating restated evidence! Whatever will we do .. Wait, you want to call him twice.. ? Um….

And to actually fight to get him on the stand - it's unbelievable.
I guess they thought the Defense wouldn't look into this guy.
Surprise!
IMO.

He's done a ton of damage to Aperture. They'd be wise to fire him pronto. It's also possible Aperture doesn't care if they are just hired guns without integrity.
