CW is going rest, shouldn't the "coming " already happened??

You would think. If their whole argument is a car hit a guy and it shattered the taillight, one would would think one of the first 5 witnesses would be someone who could definitively show that. IMO

I am looking forward to the Defense witnesses. We try to figure out their "theory" when they ask questions on cross, but I want to hear what they think happened because so far, not much makes sense and they have done nothing to convince me that he was hit by KR's car.
JMO
I think this witness, Dr. Welcher, has given evidence today that makes it extremely likely that KR was making a radical turn and very forceful backup with JO's phone right there in the same area and not in the house, MO. I also think that syncs very well with KR's utterances in front of witnesses that she hit him. AJMO

So, he says we don't know exactly how he was struck. But we still say he got hit. Give me a break. That is not proof of him being hit by that car because he wasn't. JMOO and ARCCA's
Definition of reasonable doubt IMO. If you can’t say how someone was struck, and the person struck does not have injuries consistent with a vehicle strike… what’s left?

"Did I hit him?" is different than "I HIT HIM". Surely that point can be conceded. IMO

I feel like I'm watching someone try to hammer a blue paint-covered square peg into a round hole.

This is a very detailed presentation demonstrating how O’Keefe’s vehicle tap was not the cause Read’s Lexus taillight damage.

IMO
From seeing many a wrecks in Baton Rouge, LA, lights tend to break when a vehicle impacts another vehicle. Hard object against hard object. & Cleanup efforts aren’t great here. Lots of debris left at major intersections as well as at the bumper to bumper traffic areas on interstate 10 (where most wrecks tend to occur). Some of that debris being broken taillight pieces.

I have no experience with pedestrian impact, but logic tells me a taillight is more likely to crack when hitting another hard vehicle than when hitting a fleshy human being.

Or is OP discussing the ‘I hit him’ allegations that mysteriously never cropped up during the initial investigation OR during testimony in front of the grand jury? The ‘I hit him’ utterance that NO first responder reported hearing? And that now only Jen McCabe and Katie McLaughlin allege occurred? MOO

So we still don’t know how JOK’s arm broke the taillight into 47 pieces?
And Dr Wolf stated the head wound on JO came first. So John's arm didn't hit the taillight because he was already on the ground.

I’ll tell you from my perspective, and I’m sure there will be those who disagree with me.

Trooper Paul testified directly that 1164 was his testing of the Lexus. That’s locked in. From there, it’s simple logic based on the other times Karen’s car was turned on. We know:
  • 1163 lines up with the Lexus being turned on as it was driven into the CPD sallyport off the tow truck.
  • 1162 lines up with Proctor maneuvering the car to get it onto the tow truck.
  • 1161 lines up with Karen (or her dad I don’t remember) driving from Canton to Dighton.
  • 1160 lines up with Karen reversing out of 1 Meadows to look for John around 5am 1/29/22
  • That would mean that the cycle the night John died was 1159, not 1162.
We know those were the only times the car was powered on between recovery and testing. If 1162 = the “fatal reverse,” then what, the hit happened while Proctor was moving the car in custody? That’s absurd. This timeline doesn’t require a physics degree. It just requires counting backwards and paying attention to the chain of custody. MOO.

The Tow truck ignition off happens only 70 seconds are ignition on. It cannot be 1162.

MOO.

I kinda want to see him do again at the alleged speed. I mean why be so detailed as the same clothing and then chicken out on the real test.

Not according to Proctor T1

<modsnip: Name calling is not allowed> ... Wolfe played fast and loose with the physics.

A scuff mark on the Lexus that lines up with JO's hip but he didn't have a hip injury. ground breaking. JMOO

Sorry, I forgot that an EMT *probably* wrote it on their gloves and passed it along to LE but nobody remembers it or documented it but it surely had to have happened because I mean, come on. It's the oldest excuse in the book. "If the writing on the gloves maybe probably could exist, you must convict". Wasn't that what Johnny Cochran said? JMO

Please, explain to me how he did that and why he's wrong with a physics based argument.

Not trying to be snarky, but I genuinely can’t follow what you’re saying here, did you maybe leave out a word? “The Tow truck ignition off happens only 70 seconds are ignition on” isn’t clear to me.

Thank you! I did hear something about "hip" but missed it! And I was thinking.. wait, he had no damage to his hip, why are we talking about hips lol
