He is so defensive right out of the gate and like almost all the cw witnesses, bar the ME and perhaps Hanley, he is also being unnecessarily difficult and obtuse over straightforward questions...so much for being the objective bio engineer, his defensiveness is dodgy and betrays his bias even as his words deny it. What is it with these groomed and coached witnesses. Jmo

IMO obtuse, unlikeable, Insincere and untrustworthy from the moment he opened his mouth with the fake conversational piece addressed to Alessi. I guess he couldn't help himself. It wasn't his place as a witness to do that and it made him look foolish. Jmo

To be honest, I think this witness is handling the cross by the defense very, very well.
Not being awkward or defensive at all.
I think Alessi is getting frustrated that things aren't quite going the way he planned.

It's surprising to me because it seems that the defense cross is helping the CW case as much as the direct examination of this witness by Brennan clearly helped the defense'

It must be hard for Alessi when he knows that he in facts is smarter than the expert in this case. Actually, he is smarter than all the experts that have given testimony in this case. MOO

Key people: ChrisA invited John to the Waterfall, made sure BH insisted he go to the Alberts. Jen Mc also insisted John go to Alberts, even wanted to separate John from Karen on the drive to 34th.

Karen....did not really want to go. What did she sense?

A little off topic but for those in the South, here’s a view from the inside of a snow plow at night taken from Facebook.

If “Lucky” passed the home twice- The first pass around 2:30am and then again on his second pass, he would have seen OJO because he said it didn’t start snowing heavily until 4:30-5am. He also said the ford edge was not covered in snow so we can assume John’s body wouldn’t have been either.

Does he ever clarify whether the ford edge was there on both of his passes?

I've been saying some pretty bad words in the direction of my TV due to him.
I wonder if Welcher always behaves this way when he's on the witness stand?
Not a good look for the company that he is representing.
