The oh so convenient mysterious raspy voice, phone call, that was allegedly traced back and the guy they pinned it on denied it ?

I’m not buying any of it.
Imo

Normally i wouldn’t, but in this bizarre town, i can see where someone would be afraid to come forward. Apparently there’s allll kinds of craziness with the police that’s been going on for years. It seems like there’s a lot of scary psychotic people running that place. But yeh im kind of like MAN UP!

Barro's should have just told Brennan that anything not consistent with what he is saying today was a 'false memory' 😁

I haven't watched much of it, but atm this is my opinion too. The term "side swipe" particularly sends my bs detectors off. Was the term ever clearly defined/demonstrated in the trial? or was it simply used as a "catch all" alternative for any impact that wasn't a full ~6000lb*24mph force that leaves no blood/tissue residues or damage to the car apart from the two or more tail lights that appear to have been smashed at the scene, and also doesn't break any bones or create large bruising in the body?

I'm happy to go looking if demonstration video is out there ? Is this Wilcher ?

I’m guessing the “side swipe” is hitting his arm holding a glass and spinning him around thing??

Judge Cannone is talking to counsel regarding new motions.
The Honorable Judge Cannone could save time by dismissing the defense's motions before she hears them.

Brennan's objections...sustained, sustained, sustained, sustained, sustained .........................
Defense's objections...overruled, overruled, overruled....or I'll allow that..... so much wrong with this picture.....I continue to be incredulous. I guess I continue to be ever hopeful fairness will rule.

no connection - I actually am aquainted with the witness from Monday first thing - Jonathan D - he is a solid gold stand up guy just IMO
I thought he was a great court witness. You could just tell that he was honest and forthright.

‘Brennan did a nice cross of Barros under the circumstances. But not nearly enough to salvage the catastrophic damage Barros did to the DA's case. Reasonable doubt already has been established and the defense hasn't even called the ARCCA witnesses yet who will substantially support Barros' testimony. Hard to see any possible way the DA recovers from this disaster’

Brennan is seriously grilling him on his report taking???? no way that is lost on the jury... that is rich.

He was never asked last year.. theory was, no one asked him that question before he was on the stand, no lawyer is going to ask a question they do not know the answer to. Obviously, the defense has asked between last year and this year.

Not just the report taking but also second witness he asked about whether there are memory issues! Ridiculous after all the I don’t recalls his crew brought to the courtroom.

How strategic was this!!!

1st Lying Deever. She was antagonistic. You can really see her lies made her uncomfortable. And Alessi made her uncomfortable.

Then bring in Sergeant Barro!

Splendid!!!! 🥳

So just to clarify: Barros, a seasoned police officer, testified under oath that the tail light was mostly intact after Karen dropped John off, when he saw it the afternoon of 1/29. And instead of engaging with that, the takeaway is where he met with the defense team? Are you implying he committed perjury or conspired with the defense because of the location of a meeting? If not, why bring it up?

All those who "just want justice for John O'Keefe" should be elated now that the truth has finally come out about the tail light. WIthout planted tail light evidence at the scene, there is nothing left.

Some really just hate Karen Read more than they care about true justice. This is eye opening.

IF this is directed towards me FYI I don't hate anyone. I am not convinced of KR's guilt or innocence but I do know I could not find her guilty on any of the charges. And that is true justice imo.

I see Brennan try to make it something untoward. RIDICULOUS. The defense team IS staying at a hotel. Conference rooms are exactly for meetings of business meetings such as this.. NORMAL. Starbucks would be a bit noisy and not private for example. Officer Barros is what a decent and honest police officer is, for example all. IMO
