The CW are under no obligation to disprove every piece of speculation the defence can come up with. The data shows the high speed reverse and the defence agree its proximity in time (and thus place) to within seconds. The only person who can confirm exactly where the reversing started from and finished is the defendant - but she is falsely claiming on video that she did not reverse.

I also note that BA and BH have not testified in this trial.

Thank you. Ultimately, with all the noise, all the rabbit holes that can be gone down in this trial, there is only one thing that matters to the jury. Can the CW prove that Karen hit John?

At this point, how many witnesses have told Brennan he is confused, either on their role or their methodology? Maybe the CW would have done well to have their own Alessi. MOO

The judge needs to admonish Brennan at this point. I can’t she just allowed that exchange. Dr Wolfe is interrupted by Brennan while answering, he says can I answer the question, Brennan says NO, defense has to object. Then he gets to answer. This is so frustrating to watch.

Sounds like the defence want to abandon the cellar theory in favour of the garage - and thus John going up and down cellar stairs because the jury was never going to believe it was consistent with the phone location and battery temp data.

That would also appear to concede that the defence also believe the last 36 steps are John's final steps - which means he was with Karen in the car until 12.31 approx.

I guess the theory is John leaves the car and goes in the garage while Karen reverses at 24mph. This is of course inconsistent with Karen saying on video she saw John go in the house.

Shows how much pressure Brennan has applied.

I can't believe the nit picking. AJ needs to aplogize to Dr Wolfe in front of the jury for Brennen's behavior. It'll be objected to, a side bar will be called but the jury will get a kick out of it. Brennen has to tell his story in every question. Look how much time he is taking. Insane.
