"Mr. Brennan claims that his investigation was “thorough.” If that were true, the Commonwealth would have uncovered what we, the defense, uncovered: hidden exculpatory evidence; lies and perjury by the Commonwealth’s own witnesses; cops covering for other cops; a biased and corrupt lead investigator with personal ties to witnesses; and inculpatory and suspicious conduct by myriad witnesses."

And there's MORE!

The jury has spoken, but Special Prosecutor Hank Brennan, in an egregious breach of prosecutorial ethics, has tried to publicly shame and discredit that very jury. For him to attempt to supplant his personal views for that of the jury is a desperate attempt to save face in the wake of a unanimous rejection of the prosecution’s case.

The Rules of Professional Conduct are clear: A prosecutor should support the legitimacy of the justice system and promote public confidence in its operations. Openly attacking a jury’s verdict because he disagrees with it undermines that centuries-old edict.

I'm very glad he stood up for the jury. No prosecutor should ever dispute a legitimate verdict because he is unhappy with the result.

Jackson is completely correct. Brennan is undermining the entire judicial system with the reckless and unnecessary comments he's made.

Whatever happened to "take the money and run", Hank? No one needs to hear anything else from you at this point. Read is not guilty and your mob boss is on record saying he has no intention of looking for the real killer or killers. Go away.

I love that he used the word “wildly”, just like Officer Dever did!

Right on the nose as usual - Thank you Alan Jackson for being on the side of the people 💯 ✅

From AJ's statement BBM
We are thankful for the jury’s commitment to truth and that they found their way to a just verdict. But make no mistake—if DA Michael Morrissey had his way, the truth never would have come out in this case. It would have been lost somewhere in private and deleted conversations that would never have seen the light of day. Corruption like this doesn’t happen in isolation. How many innocent people have been railroaded because of failures in our judicial system? We, as citizens, must demand more of our institutions."

HB's public statement and ridicule of the jury's decision is the final straw for Alan Jackson I think. AJ and the defense team put up with shady conduct from Hank Brennan throughout the trial, and his final statement condemning the verdict is one more shady thing HB's trying to pull off. AJ was a prosecutor for 16 years (I think he said) before he became a defense attorney. For AJ to witness HB's sneaky conduct over and over again is something else. It seems Brennan was appointed this role by MM, who was voted into power. I wonder if there will be any consequence to Hank Brennan for any of his dirty tricks. AJ, DY and RA and even Mr Read have all requested for people to get involved in local politics so these clowns can be voted out.

They certainly did not go with a middle aged white man jury (understandably!).
The foreman was very soft spoken and he said some interesting things.
That he considered her innocent at the beginning and still at the end.
That putting the family through this again would be hard on them if they re-opened the case.
That it was hard to sit through just 8 weeks of trial.
I believe Bev always chooses Juror #1 (or Seat #1, I forget which) to be foreperson. So it's pretty random.

As you can see, the woman was caught on security footage dancing in the street right outside the O’Keefe home early Monday morning -- bold move, to say the least.

We’re told the family’s been calling the cops, but folks ignoring the 'No Trespassing' signs are usually long gone by the time police show up.

We are told a neighbor of the O'Keefe's filed a police report today regarding the dancing women -- we reached out to Canton PD to confirm, but so far, no word back.

I’m very curious as to who she is and whose side she was on. Just because she’s dancing in front of his house doesn’t mean she’s FKR. She might just be doing it to make it look like she is.

Yeah he worked for the LA County DAs office as a prosecutor for a long time. He was the lead prosecutor on the Phil Spector case and it was the first successful prosecution of a celebrity for murder in LA in 40 years

Robert Alessi and David Yannetti have become such great pals. This interview focused more on lawyering talk than anything else I would say. These two are a powerhouse of information for other lawyers.

Eventually, BA and DY would like to maybe take The Bob and Dave show on the road somehow.

I think this Karen Read case has been the highlight of their long careers. Bob is 67 and Dave is 62 so to have led an historical case like this one should provide them with many opportunities going forward into their 60s and 70s. They hopefully won't have to work as hard and maybe just have some fun in the lawyering world now.

Now AJ, ya know mob lawyers are gonna be mob lawyers! Giving Hank a fancy special prosecutor title is just putting lipstick on the pig. Fortunately you knew what you were up against. I can't stop wondering why Morrissey hired Whitey Bulger's lawyer. Oh, right, I'm not really wondering.
