She was fantastic. I like listening to her and Peter because unlike us who have no legal background, they are able to take the emotion out of things for the most part. I am really glad to see people like her and other lawyers who saw Cannone the way we did. It’s just a shame nothing can be done about her.

Agree. She explained how remote anything like suspension or even just a reprimand would happen to Cannone. IMO she should be disbarred as I firmly believe she was in cahoots with her old school friend DA Morrissey.
This million dollar “ drunk driving” case is the most expensive in history , so buh bye DA.
And Brennan can forget future political aspirations.

Yep!! Her name is MUDD now, IMO. The 'world' saw her in action. How she can recover from this and still maintain respect is a huge question. I seriously doubt she will be returning to the bench for any length of time. In other news.....I wonder who will portray her in the 'Movie'......

BC is all over TicTok after being recognized at Logan by two young girls who asked if she was the Judge -- she lied and told them she was her sister. In disbelief, the kids asked if they were twins! She was also recorded on the flight -- no mistaking that voice or hair!

What an encouraging female role model for these 2 girls eh?
Obviously she feared for her life, what else could it be? lol

I was really surprised at the end when he agreed with immediate sentencing and probation.
I imagine he wanted to get out of the courtroom as fast as possible. He knew he lost. No need to drag out the embarrassment.

The CW has a good amount of legal immunity in these situations and it's not a wrongful conviction as she was found not guilty. I don't think she'll end up suing anyone.
Ianal but a wrongful arrest is different than a wrongful conviction.
And maybe there is a case for malicious prosecution.
In my mind there was not enough probable cause to arrest her.
But thats just my opinion - just spit balling

My understanding is that this would be very unlikely to win. They had a grand jury do the indictment and probable cause is not a high barrier.

Brady issues? and she was not 100% acquitted.... from the outside looking in, having to go through two trials, not being able to continue her employment, not having her car and house... having no privacy....it's a lot. If you believe, despite her angry phone calls and the troubles, that she was very attached to JOK, being blamed for his death and blamed by his family would be painful and it is ironic that she supposedly did not want to go to the after party. IMO.

I don't disagree. But I think she'd have a large number of hurdles in the court system. You can sue anyone for any reason but keeping such a lawsuit alive would likely be very difficult.

Precedent being first among them. People get arrested all the time. A number of those arrested are found not guilty. I don't see the courts wanting to open up the flood gates for everyone who is found not guilty to sue police departments for being arrested.

And while Read may have excellent arguments given what went on here, lawsuits are expensive and damages would be capped against a municipality. Then there's the emotional toll that would come with more legal drama.

We'll see, but these are the reasons I don't see her filing civil suits. And a book and movie deals would probably be far more lucrative.

She has Crohn's . So she went home. It was close enough.
Plus so what she didn't want to go to the afterparty.
Busy thinking about John's kids it seemed like to me.
Its not ironic at all IMO.

Why go to a party, where a guy you were ghosting was going to be.

That's the exact program that I watched. I came away concluding that she's guilty- NOT a police conspiracy like they want you to believe.
Do you disbelieve science and medicine?? And the CW's own medical examiner? Independent experts hired by FBI?

It was proven that she really didn't Google it at 2:30am, she did it when Karen asked her to closer to 6:30am.
That was in no way proven. It was proven Jen lied about that to Kerry and Kerry then lied about that happening to LE
