Exactly my thoughts.In my opinion:
The state police have been involved so I'm sure all possible evidence has been obtained. I believe they have a good idea who is involved and are gathering and processing evidence. In the digital age, the movements of a suspect(s) on a certain night will be well known, better than the perp(s) is aware of. But law enforcement "knowing" what happened, and pressing charges for conviction are two different things.
In case where more than one perpetrator is involved, as I believe is the case here, LE can bring pressure to get someone to talk, and if needed- connect the final dots, including the location of Sandra's body.
While we will be angry that one of the responsible parties in a murder got a very lenient deal, that person will have acted in their own best interest and will not suffer the same fate as others involved.
Who will talk? One of them will...
Thinking of Sandra this holiday season.
If anything happened, would any updates be clear? I have checked the findsandracrispo.com which seemed to be run by the daughter and I can’t find anything. If something had come up, is it possible the public wouldn’t have been informed? I doubt the family m realize there’s a random girl in her 20’s from California constantly wondering how they are doing...
Great point. I certainly am not entitled to the answer, I just want to know whether the family got them![]()
I want them to have answers too, that's why I stay posting here. I was just trying to answer your question of why we haven't heard any updates on if they are any closer to getting them, so I hope you didn't take my response harshly.
I've read only about half the posts here since August so forgive me if I'm repeating something said by others.
We have a description of what she was wearing that Wednesday (three quarters length pink sweat pants IIRC) and video from Cumby Farms presumably confirming same. Were those clothes found in her home? The answer might help determine when she left the house (Wed or Thursday) to help pinpoint a potential time.
I can think of a dozen scenarios where she would be killed in her home but only two where the body would be removed - a kidnapping or a killer who needed to remove the body because it had evidence. A kidnapping might point to a sexual predator since no ransom demand has apparently been made./QUOTE]
These are all good thoughts but I'll be very surprised if we ultimately learn this was a sexual predator or even a stranger on stranger crime. It's JMO and I could be wrong but following this from the start....it's not the vibe I personally get.
I DO think her body was either removed from the home to conceal evidence of what happened, or what's more likely to me is that perhaps she wasn't at home when she died. I think she left with someone she knew.
She does appear in the Cumberland Farms video wearing the outfit described, and to my understanding those clothes and shoes are missing along with her handbag. I think a big clue to her leaving Wednesday night as opposed to sometime Thursday is the diapers left in the kitchen trash. I don't think anyone would leave diapers in regular trash indoors in the heat of August for any length of time.
