Sorry for the formatting of my reply above!

Here's my thoughts on your post, @Spider92

These are all good thoughts but I'll be very surprised if we ultimately learn this was a sexual predator or even a stranger on stranger crime. It's JMO and I could be wrong but following this from the start....it's not the vibe I personally get.

I DO think her body was either removed from the home to conceal evidence of what happened, or what's more likely to me is that perhaps she wasn't at home when she died. I think she left with someone she knew.

She does appear in the Cumberland Farms video wearing the outfit described, and to my understanding those clothes and shoes are missing along with her handbag. I think a big clue to her leaving Wednesday night as opposed to sometime Thursday is the diapers left in the kitchen trash. I don't think anyone would leave diapers in regular trash indoors in the heat of August for any length of time.

I thought I read that she had only a small circle of friends and family. Most of the updates have come from her daughter. Has Sandra’s sister had much to say and is she local?

Sandra has a large family, many siblings, cousins, etc and all are local, I believe. It could be that the entire family has made the daughter the spokeswoman, if you will. My conjecture.

I've read only about half the posts here since August so forgive me if I'm repeating something said by others.
We have a description of what she was wearing that Wednesday (three quarters length pink sweat pants IIRC) and video from Cumby Farms presumably confirming same. Were those clothes found in her home? The answer might help determine when she left the house (Wed or Thursday) to help pinpoint a potential time.
I can think of a dozen scenarios where she would be killed in her home but only two where the body would be removed - a kidnapping or a killer who needed to remove the body because it had evidence. A kidnapping might point to a sexual predator since no ransom demand has apparently been made. Physical evidence on her body might also point to a sexual predator particularly if the bed area was disturbed though she could have scratched the attacker.
I find it very odd that she had no cell phone or laptop (how would she log on to Websleuths?). This does strongly suggest though that the perp did not meet her online. That would suggest to me that it was someone local who had eyes on her - how else would he know she was home alone? I'd be running the names of everyone she was in contact with over the past 30 days and cross referencing that list against known felons. I'm sure it's not that simple of course.

I think LE believes that she was still wearing the clothing described because that was in the "official description" released, FWIW. Also, her dog was in the house, and no one nearby heard barking or screaming or any unusual noise, FWIW.

The Brockton Enterprise News named Sandra's disappearance one of their top ten stories of the year. No new details but a small summary appeared in their article: YEAR IN REVIEW: Ten stories that shaped the Brockton region in 2019

"The disappearance of Sandra Crispo has left nearly everyone – including investigators – scratching their heads. Crispo, 54 at the time, was last seen on Aug. 7. The grandmother of three was dropped off at her Hanson home by a family member after leaving her car at a local mechanic's shop. She hasn't been seen since. Despite her photograph being shared thousands of times on social media, local media covering her disappearance, "Dateline" covering her story on national television and police conducting numerous interviews and searches, they say they are no closer to finding her than they were the day she was reported missing. Crispo's daughter found her mother's home empty, with the lights on, the air conditioner running, back door unlocked and no food or water for the dog. In late August, the town's police chief said, "We have nothing. We are no more along than we were on day one." Anyone who believes they have information on Crispo's disappearance or sees a person matching her description is asked to contact the Hanson Police Department at 781-293-4625."

Glad to see that the press is still on this but it sounds like no easy answers. I hope LE questioned everyone in the neighborhood since I read that Sandra used to walk her grandkids around the block and she could have caught the attention of somebody who knew she lived alone. From pictures online, it looks like the street is characterized by heavy vegetation, high fences and perhaps bad lighting. Add a hot night that may have called for air conditioning (and closed windows) and it looks like a near perfect place for a crime. I hope they also checked for cameras at commercial establishments on the nearest busy road but that's a lot of data unless they can pinpoint a time of crime.

I posted this way up thread, but I have been in Sandra's neighborhood on 2 occasions. Her street is interesting in that to an outsider it looks like a private drive. IIRC it may have been gravel as well... or was when I saw it. There is heavy vegetation and the houses on the street are small bungalow types. I think these were mostly vacation homes at some point in the past. The neighborhood borders a large lake. Actually two of them. Monponsett St is the main road running past the neighborhood and just past the neighborhood it runs in a narrow spit of land right between the two lakes. In that area opposite Sandra's neighborhood is a packie/variety store, a tiny post office, some automotive shops, an insurance agent. Just to give some context.

Great descriptions - thank you. I didn't realize the water was so close - that always adds another uncertainty in a case like this.

I keep circling back to the family. It can't have been a random person. Everything points to her leaving willingly. The dog without food or water isn't alarming because I only feed my dog 2x a day and he eats it immediately. The lights on and door unlocked makes it seem like she left for a quick minute and expected to be back soon. Maybe a family member or friend stopped by and offered to take her somewhere. I don't know Laina personally and wish I did just to get more information. Was there a feud between siblings? Did Sandra have money saved and someone knew about it? There are so many questions and no answers at all.

I wish there was an updated statement in the article, especially from State Police now that they are involved.

@Hanson Washburn, sleuthing people who aren't official suspects and posting social media screenshots aren't allowed here.

I think you're right. There obviously wasn't any kind of struggle.

Absence of struggle doesn't necessary mean that a stranger wasn't involved. It could have been a stranger that she did not distrust, or someone she might have known from the neighborhood.

The longer it goes without her being found, the less chance of her really being found at all, I fear... So hard to sit on my hands and simply "like" posts that dance around what we just can't discuss...

Lot of hand sitting going on here. Please let Sandra come home for her Grandsons to be able to say a proper good bye and she can be laid to rest with family and friends JMO praying for them all

Hoping and praying Sandra comes home.
Just reading about another missing person, a man from Quincy Ma that has not been seen since the end of Dec and it is so disheartening to know how many families and friends are going through this horrible nightmare, please bring them home.
