How about a clear front facing picture like her driver’s license?

I can’t imagine not having a cell phone at 54 years old, but then I’ve had a work issued cell phone a long time - going back 20 years or so. Plus a company issued laptop. And I’m in her age bracket.

And why would she “pop in” with the homeless? Did she do charity work? Attend a local church? Knitting group? Local recreation club?

Is her daughter married? Perhaps the son in law owned the pick up truck?

Lot of odd things going on....JMO.

The Fall River Reporter newspaper included a drivers license photo in their article...you can see it here: Missing local woman has reported sightings in Fall River

The daughter is married.

The "pop in" comment is very odd but that was said by the Hanson chief of police as an explanation of why they were checking with homeless communities in nearby cities.

I think about money too. Did Sandra sell the house in Quincy to buy the one in Hanson? Was there a net gain? If so, who might have known about it, where was that money, and did someone else feel they were entitled to it or perhaps had a personal crisis and went to ask for it? If Sandra said no -then what might have ensued?
Also, did she go outside to smoke or did she smoke inside? Would the dog go out with her? Is the dog a barker and did anyone hear anything?
Did she go for walks in the neighborhood? When it was dark or light outside? Did anyone ever see her out in the neighborhood? Are any of the neighbors afraid of any of the others?
Is it time for a reward?

These are the most important questions to be raised in this thread so far, IMO.

These are all good questions. I’m so worried for this woman!
From what we know at least everything seemed normal and then she just poofed right out of her house!

Checking in for updates. I'd love to read that she's been found safe. Not feeling hopeful of that.

FYI the daughter’s name was put on the deed of the home along with Sandra’s. This can be found on the registry of deeds Plymouth county (public record.) Someone called it out on Facebook and daughter explained they both indeed on it .

I’m guessing if the daughters name was put on she became co-signer and helped pay for new home ? meaning sandra needed help purchasing and the daughter needed help with caregiving ? Does this mean no net gain ? If so does this rule out motive?

So many questions not enough answers

This shows that the daughter and her husband might be aware of Sandra's finances but it doesn't mean that everyone in Sandra's circle knew the ins and outs of how much money she had or what the arrangements were. Someone else might have been convinced she had more money than she really did, unfortunately.

I wish they could get a break in this case.

IMO, she did not have enough credit/ credit history in her name only ( I was a SAHM for over 20 yrs ). Being an authorized user only does not leave one with much credit history- especially if they did not work ( or work a lot) during the marriage or its not on the credit history. It took about 4 yrs after I went back to work for my credit to add an employer. Same thing after a divorce- and she was married at one time. Some folks are still old fashioned as well- and the wife has 0 authorized user cards- and use husband's only. ( I work customer service and still encounter this daily)

This case has captivated me. I think about it numerous times during the day. My main theory is someone breaking in overnight thinking no one was home when no vehicle was in the driveway. Then it got ugly from there. But to me the daughter seems to come off a little carefree. Watching her interviews I don't sense a lot of urgency. <modsnip: sleuthing social media of family>Everyone handles stress differently so maybe I'm offbase on reading her. I also don't get why they're keeping it a mystery as to what relative dropped Sandra off at home. Very strange.

Snipped by me

It's funny how each person can read emotional affect differently. You see carefree in her words and actions but when I see her in interviews to me she seems devastated, almost numb by what has happened.

However I do agree that there almost seems to be something (or a number of things) about this disappearance that is not being said publically. I hope more info comes to light soon.

There are a couple of missing persons that have circumstances very close to this, very frustrating, cannot imagine how family and friends feel awfully sad...Never never give up !.

Just throwing this out there.....

I have a friend that all he talked about was moving to some little town to be near his daughter and grandkids. He talked about how he could be there for them when they got home from school and all the things he could teach them. Up to that point he'd been living alone.

Well, his daughter found him an apartment near where they lived and all those things came true. He lasted 3 or 4 months and he just couldn't take it anymore. He said he felt like he'd lost his life and everything revolved around being at their beck and call. He'd had to give up his hobbies and he was just miserable.

No, he didn't just disappear. He moved back to his previous state.

But what if SC also felt "hemmed in" and someone from her old city showed up and said "hop in and we'll let loose and be back before you need to babysit again." Maybe she left enough for the dog thinking it would last until she got back. And something--even a car accident--happened.

I kind of see the police's point. We're already at "who took her" and they're still at "she probably just left."

So according to that source shoes and purse were missing...hmm. With no other signs of foul play it’s beginning to look like she either left willingly by herself or with someone she knew well.
Poor puppy! I wish dogs could talk sometimes:( It is hard to pinpoint whether something happened Wednesday or Thursday....I hope we get some answers soon.

Forty days ago today was the last time Laina McMahon saw her mother Sandra Crispo before she vanished without a trace.

More at Family fears foul play involved in disappearance of grandmother missing 40 days from Massachusetts home
This article explains why the mechanic called Sandra's daughter. He was her mechanic who was looking at her mother's car.

Also, she cut up a watermelon for her grandsons to eat on Friday. She wasn't planning on going anywhere. MOO

Have the police gone through her phone records to see if there was any activity after she was dropped off at her house? Have they searched the neighborhood with dogs?

So I'm still thinking about the bed board thing. I've always just had a box spring/mattress so had to go looking.

1. If the bed board was between the box spring and mattress--why would the daughter have even noticed it was gone? She lifted the mattress? (Maybe it was totally skewed which made her look.)

2. If the bed board was the bottom layer and was removed, wouldn't the mattress have been on the floor? So, apparently #1.

3. I also saw this on a Google definition lookup: bed-board: The head-board or foot-board of a bedstead. I don't know if that's a common usage, but if either were gone, I'd certainly notice.

I've followed other threads here, and generally get some "feel" of what happened--doesn't mean I'm right--but this one just doesn't make sense to me and I keep thinking there's another piece to the puzzle that we haven't heard yet.
I’m in the next state over and when I first read that I thought “headboard”. You would notice right away if that was detached.

Police said they did do a canine search for her (two times, I believe). They have conducted 7 searches in all.

Maureen Hancock - not your stereotypical medium. I’ve never had a session with her, but I have met her a few times. She’s a kind and genuine person (my personal impression of her) and I’m sure she has the family’s interest at heart. Hopefully she was able to bring Sandra's family an ounce of peace as they search for SC. IMO
