Just watched the news story which contained a new interview with the daughter and a statement by Hanson police. I scribbled notes as I watched. If I find a link to the video I'll post it here.
1. The family has hired a PI. They believe "someone knows something."
2. A brief clip of the surveillance footage at Cumberland Farms was shown. Sandra was in the passenger seat of what appeared to be a black pickup truck. She got out, went into the store to buy cigarettes (according to the reporter), and walked back to the truck. The person driving who dropped her off was again described as a family member.
3. No mention of bed boards/head boards. However, the daughter said that lights were on in the house and the dog had no food or water when she arrived to check on her mom and this was very unlike Sandra. "She would never leave her animal for any amount of time."
4. Hanson police have conducted 7 separate searches. Canines have been used (by both police and civilians handlers). Drones have been used. Officers have searched surrounding areas on both foot and ATVs. No new information has been developed from these searches.
5. Sandra moved to Hanson to be closer to her 3 grandchildren, who she took care of. She was a homebody. Because of her recent move, she knew few people in her new town. There has been no movement on any of her bank accounts since her disappearance.
6. The tips about sightings of Sandra in Fall River, MA were investigated and did not pan out.
7. The daughter says she has "no idea what happened" to her mom.
