What is the rule for posting about registered sex offenders? I looked them all up and found some concerning info. IMO.

I wonder if they ever dusted that back door for prints? And if they did on this recent visit - did they find anything?

Has it been established if her grandchildren were in the car when she was dropped off at home by a family member?

I don't think it's even been established that she was dropped off at home.

You can't post links, name them, or post addresses. I think it's safe to say you searched and found x number in _______ area. MOO

Been a few days and this is the first thread I checked in on. I think of her often. Just some thoughts;

I really don’t think them not naming the family member is necessarily suspicious. I’m sure LE knows who they are but not releasing it to the media is something I would do to protect my family members name from getting out there. It’s my understanding the kids were included in this situation and if my kids confirmed the story what reason do I have to release my siblings/uncles/aunts name to the media?

Of course it doesn’t make our work any easier ;)

On the Find Sandra website it says that there will be a candlelight vigil Friday if it’s approved. I hope that stirs up some tips.

“The vigil will be held in the daytime due to the towns EEE precautions which ban the use of outdoor property after dusk until the first frost.”
I am from a coastal city in California...what is first frost??:oops:

Does anyone know how many days before LE went back to the house ? Am assuming daughter has extra keys !?TIA this case is eating at me there are pieces missing ! MOO

One more amateur thought;

I wonder if they checked her laundry basket for the clothes she was wearing the day she went to the mechanic. I don’t know her style, but if she were wearing a particular shirt we could see if she ever changed into nightwear that night and at least made it home that day.

There is one within a 2 min walk. Very close.

First frost is just how it sounds. When the temps go below freezing. It’s usually when we can relax about the mosquitos. We have had a good number of cases of EEE this year, most resulting in death or severe disability. Some were children. Very scary. I am of the same opinion about the unidentified family member. I used to drive my grandmother to appointments as a teen. If this happened to my family, my parents wouldn’t want my name plastered all over the place. It could be an older grandchild that picked her up. I think SC has a son. If it was him, maybe he is a very private person - introverted. I don’t really find it to be too unusual. IMO.

EEE is Eastern Equine Enciphalitis, which can be deadly. Two people have died in Connecticut in the last couple of weeks. First frost is just that, the first frost of the autumn season which kills the mosquitoes that carry the virus. So outdoor gatherings are banned since mosquitoes are most active at dusk.

Thank you for explaining that. Scary!

Question: Was the clothing she was seen wearing on the store video found at her home or not?

Has anything been reported since LE went back to search her home again?

I find it a little curious that she's been missing this long and we're just not seeing a lot of MSM reporting on her disappearance at all.

This case really is entirely in the wheelhouse of shows like ID's "Disappeared."

It's a bonafide mystery.

.

Nothing I have seen in local news as yet points to an answer for either of your questions.

Let’s talk about the clothing. This article and several others state, “She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and pink three-quarter length sweat pants and slip on shoes.“ Was she wearing this outfit in the Cumby’s footage? I still haven’t seen it.
This, of course, does not tell us if the clothes were found at the home, but if they were, I doubt they would release the description with her information? IMO

Oh my gosh! Has this always been a thing or have I been living under a rock?
I really could not think of a reason why people would have to wait for it to get cold to go outside...crazy! Thank you for explaining :)

Are you sure? I checked the sex offender registry map and the closest one I saw was 2 miles away.

I had no clue. Thanks for the info!

We really don't know much about Sandra's life. We seem to define her, so far, by her daughter and grandchildren.
But that is only one facet of a woman's life..
I'm wondering if someone resurfaced from her past.
I'm wondering who, how many people, had her new address since moving.
Is it possible that she had a new romance, one which the rest of the family didn't know about?
Just thinking outside the box here. Her daughter said that Sandra is a homebody. But, respectfully, sometimes our adult children don't know us as well as they think.

It's been a thing since the 1800's, but it's not wide spread and there is only an outbreak every decade or two, and even then it's rare, though frightening because the mortality rate is so high if you actually do catch it.
