Man seen carrying diaper clad baby

The motorcycle guy didn't even come forward until a week later. Couldn't make a connection to missing infant-is that really believable? The woman was already on TV by then talking about her husband seeing a man with baby.

I wonder if the size of the baby seen that night is approximate to the size of a 10-11 month old? Lisa is supposedly 30 pounds too.

I wondered about a similar scenario. However, the biggest problem with that is that this baby wasn't wrapped - and rigor mortis would have set in. So they would have had to unwrap her... kwim? I think if they had already wrapped her, they would have just put her in a duffle or backpack for someone to carry. JMHO

They may have had to unwrap her for whatever reason, whether it be scent or what I dont know. This could be where the dumpster fire comes in too, the pillowcase/blanket/sheet, whatever was burned in that fire. The mother could have washed the pillowcase or whatever, I keep saying pillowcase because I get the feeling that is what she was in. So for the sake of my conversations I am calling it a pillowcase. But they could have taken her out of that and he carried her away. After a certain amount of time rigor goes away. Rigor only stays for so many hours so she would have been flexible again by this time. i just feel that she had to have help and a car would have been more noticeable. I would hope the police start forensics on other people vehicles.

grrr....
top of the NG show..."bombshell tonight" intro..a text headline saying, and I quote:
"Baby Lisa Spotted Near Home Day She Vanishes"

How are they (media) allowed to get away with such blatant distortions of the truth? They can't possibly know that was Baby Lisa. It just irks me to no end..yet I will wait to hear more, hoping she has the witnesses on. (its taped so I'm watching it delayed)

All it means is the guy was seen carrying the baby no one knows if that baby was alive ...The cadaver dogs say she wasnt..

This man being out in the cold in just a t shirt seems like he was despondant
hes out there with a dead baby thats why there were no clothes or blankets because the baby was dead.

Now was he there when it happend or was he called to help ....

I believe he was called to help dispose if there is a "he". The only reason it would fit with him walking is because a car would have been to noticeable. Yes, a kidnapper showed up with a car and here is the car description. A man walking down the street, yes can have people see him but he can get away easy enough and if he disguised himself just enough, no one would be the wiser. I do not believe that Lisa was kidnapped and its obvious that someone didnt come into that house and kill her and put her dead on the mothers floor, turn on the lights, steal cell phones and leave. DB was saddled with a baby, wanted play time and I think broke her neck. I hope she is found soon. This guy had to park a few miles away and then get in his car. Someone who is "fit" can do this easily. LE needs to search these other cars forensically. Like I said, this man might have nothing to do with anything but if he does, this is the only explanation.

If there was a man with a baby and was not involved with the baby lisa case i would think they would make themselves known pronto...

No one has come forward so i think this man didnt think he would be seen by neighbors that time of night. Probably thought a car would draw attention to DI home so he walked... but why would someone do this for anyone? To dispose of a little babys body? Why???? Family? Lover? Friend?

To me it was only seen that a man was carrying "A" baby, not "the" baby in question. But thats not what her written headline said, which is what I took issue with. She labled it as Baby Lisa. Its misleading, imo.

That said, its very hard to just dismiss the sightings. For one thing, its rare you see anyone walking around with a baby at those hours. Add to that in the same neighborhood as a baby (allegedly) went missing and on the same (alleged) night? Add to that the man had no jacket or hoodie type clothing on in both sightings. Add to that the baby was only in a diaper in at least one of the sightings?

The second sighting hours later (4am reportedly) near an interstate exit area, as being reported on NG show. I want to go back and freeze that frame on NG that had the sighting map up...and see if I can google map that area and pinpoint (unless its already here). I would be very interested in seeing what businesses, if any, might be there to capture on tape. I haven't heard anything on that.

Dont you agree its very hard to identify babies
Any little girl with little hair could look like Lisa. There are so many little girls out there that look like her...

It would be simple to interview every neighbor within blocks to see who has a young child of that age and who might have been walking around at 4am.
The answer is in that house, with the parents.. if anyone was seen it was the Dad IMO.

I think the dad would be more noticeable, besides he had a work van and someone would have seen his van at home. The neighbors would have also recognized him. This had to be someone that wasnt at their house much. If this is connected as I said?

Here's what I'm thinking (at this moment - subject to change...LOL):

I don't see anyone who would risk walking around with a dead baby and getting caught. I do believe these people saw what they said they saw. I think it was:

1) a *live* baby Lisa (which I don't really believe is the case)
2) a different baby altogether (would be too coincidental on the 'night of all nights')
3) a decoy -- like a doll. Remember, they're setting the stage for an abduction and want with all their might to draw the attention away from that home.

MOO

Plus I think these people think they are smarter than LE and probably walked different routes etc to confuse LE when scent was picked up by the dogs. Maybe???

I absolutely agree its hard to identify babies. Especially in the dark. The exception to that might be if a baby, like some I've seen, had a big mass of dark hair. But even that all depends on how well lit (or not) the areas were.

Could be a red herring (doll).
But if that person & that baby aren't identified...I can look down the road and see a defense attorney having a field day with it :( I sure hope these sightings get nailed down.

Did anyone else catch the location of the 4am sighting..near the interstate exit? (approx 3 miles away from Irwin home)

I just don't know what to think of these sightings. Seems so coincidental that it must be true, yet, so bizarre at the same time. I just can't fathom a man carrying a baby without clothing at the time of midnight or at 4 a.m. Yet, could the sightings be true? Two different accounts yet almost the same description of the man and baby.

But isn't the Dad a LOT taller than 5' 8"?

Yes I agree. I believe the dumpster fire was an attempt to misdirect LE from where the body was actually taken for disposal.

The red line begins on Chelsea, which is where the man was witnessed with the baby.

MOO.

Lets look at it this way. IF this is part of the abduction, then they did their job by throwing LE off the scent and on another wild goose chase. They have accomplished their goal. They need to get those cars and test them NOW. Is there a way to call in this tip, I have no problem doing this though I would sound like a nut I am sure but I am all the way here in NY so thats OK. I have to get the tip line number and call them.. I want to tell them my theory..

I know, it is very strange. It's as if the person didn't care if he was being seen with the baby since the baby was not covered up with a blanket at all to conceal that he was carrying a baby. 4 am sighting time. 4 am is when JI is at his home. JI and man with baby cannot be in two places at the same time. It is very strange.
