Don't ask me why I posted the above video - I posted it because I thought we need to hear it.

I try to listen to my Spirit Ally (as in - my Spirit Companion. Others may know her as their Guardian Angel)

May we all learn to Love.

I could have sworn Nikki said Ally was going to FL during the week immediately after her murder, perhaps on Tuesday? IIRC Nikki indicated that Ally wouldn’t have stayed over to Monday with Wes because it was right before her trip. But I’m really hazy on this. Did I dream it? :) Does someone else remember?

I don't remember that but it makes sense. She had ten days off, iirc.

Say it's here where our pieces fall in place
Any rain softly kisses us on the face
Any wind means we're running
We can sleep and see 'em coming
Where we drift and call it dreaming
We can weep and call it singing
Where we break when our hearts are strong enough
We can bow 'cause our music's warmer than blood
Where we see enough to follow
We can hear when we are hollow
Where we keep the light we're given
We can lose and call it living
Where the sun isn't only sinking fast
Every night knows how long it's supposed to last
Where the time of our lives is all we have
And we get a chance to say
Before we ease away
For all the love you've left behind
You can have mine
Say it's here where our pieces fall in place
We can fear 'cause the feeling's fine to betray
Where our…
Say it's here where our pieces fall in place
We can fear 'cause the feeling's fine to betray
Where our water isn't hidden
We can burn and be forgiven
Where our hands hurt from healing
We can laugh without a reason
'Cause the sun isn't only sinking fast
Every moon and our bodies make shining glass
Where the time of our lives is all we have
And we get a chance to say
Before we ease away
For all the love you've left behind
You can have mine

I own a 12ga shotgun for home defense and not hunting. It's not well suited for hunting because it has a short 18 1/2" cylinder bore barrel.

I could buy another barrel for hunting if I wanted to. It only takes a minute to change barrels on a Mossberg 500 pump shotgun.

Just catching up. This is interesting to me. Does it use slugs or shot as was talked about upthread? And what is the range approximately?

I really don't care whether she was shot with slugs or shot. She was shot in the spine whichever method was used. She would have lost movement in her legs that she was working to get away from him. She would have gone down instantly while she was trying to run away from a grievous threat to her. I feel so sorry for that young woman who must have been terrified.

Let's explore the work schedule further because it doesn't make sense to me.

We have WS's account of the work schedule posted in thread 2. bbm

We had originally planned on her coming over after work Saturday morning and us spending the rest of that weekend together because we were both off work for the following 3 days.
But then my schedule got changed and I ended up having to be back at work that Saturday night but she was still off.

So rather than her coming over Saturday morning and then just sitting at my apartment alone Saturday night while I worked, we shifted our plans to have her come over on either Sunday or Monday evening instead.
We made this change Friday night while we were both at work so it was last minute. I’ve thought a lot about how this could have any relation to what happened that Saturday.

For example, Ally was killed down the street from her parents house on a day that she hadn’t originally planned on being at her parents house.
Could this have any relation to what happened? Does this tell us anything? I honestly just don’t know.
Who did Ally tell about our last minute change of plans? Did she tell her parents? We’re they even expecting her to be home that day? Or did they just find out when she showed up at the house that Saturday morning?
Lots of questions without any answers unfortunately.

A month later he posts a screen shot of a text message exchange with Ally about the work schedule on the Saturday she was killed. Two things - 1. Why is Ally asking him about his work schedule at 4:45 am Saturday when Wes said they discussed his work schedule Friday night? 2. He tells us in the post above that Ally isn't coming over on Saturday because he got scheduled to work on Saturday night. He then says the plan was for her to come over Sunday or Monday. Why? According to the text exchange he's working on Sunday and Monday as well.

None of this makes sense to me and I would wager she had no plans to go back that weekend or ever.

It's hard to keep things straight when you lie.

Listen, his reactions don't come close to approximating the kind of rage I've seen that's associated with grief. It just isn't. That's my experience. There's a difference.

And issues with W? Well they were broken up. And she was on her way to spend time with another man.

We've all seen his anger. I don't think she had issues with him. I think he had issues with her.

By the way, the killer, whoever it is, big, disgusting coward, right?

Do you agree that someone who would chase after a small, frightened woman like that, shooting her in the back, is a cowardly and degenerate, loser?

What is your profile for the type of human being who would do such a thing to a defenseless woman? What do you think of the character of such a person?

Pretty much.

Floyd Galloway raped the woman he killed. So I agree with you. Ally's murder had no aspects of sexual assault.

On another topic, Wes said Ally was supposed to come to his house the morning she was murdered. I bet he was pretty mad when she didn't. He never claimed she showed up, did he?

We've all seen how mad he gets when he doesn't get his way.

Well, on the day she died they're texting "love you" to each other.

Yes, her killer is a coward and a loser.

Friday, night shift, 7a.m. to 7 p.m. they are both working (on different floors as usual). He finds out he has to work Saturday night (I'm sure LE has checked his story ) and so A goes home for the weekend . Hence FB's question "Are you coming home" and A's response.

The profile of her killer I would expect to be someone like FG or the killer of Rebecca Bletsch.

The change of plans bc of work schedule narrative doesn’t fit with anything else wes has claimed. They probably never had any plans to hang at all that weekend. Otherwise she wouldn’t have asked him his work schedule in texts - bc according to wes’s most recent narrative, by that time, they would have already discussed work schedules - bc his last minute change in work schedule was supposedly the entire reason their plans were cancelled and ally was at home the day she was murdered.

Edited to finish my comment bc the site keeps crashing for me

I think he probably tried to convince her to come over that morning and when he couldn't...that was it.

We've seen he doesn't like being challenged. I bet he couldn't handle the break up, heard about her trip and fell into a narcissistic (yup. That's what I think) panic. So he tried hard to get her to come over so he could talk her out of going or back into being with him.

"She was supposed to come over Saturday morning!" In his mind, because he demanded it, that's where she was supposed to be, IMO. But she didn't come over. So he found her and gunned her down.

Nobody is going to deny ol' W.

That's a theory of mine at the moment.

I'm sorry. I don't believe she was texting "I love you." To that dude. Not at that time.

Thank you for your response as to profile. It could make sense at first blush. But to me, there was zero evidence that the coward who killed Ally tried to grab her, restrain her, or sexually assault her in any way, unlike the other cases you cited. Rebecca's killer kidnapped girls for purposes of sexual assault and therewas evidence he had restrained or attempted to restrain her, for example.

Yes, her last chance. 5'6" inch men got, he is a tiny little man.

So where he was between end of shift at 7a.m. and 2.30 p.m. is what LE will need to determine from his phone records or other means. He says he was sleeping which is a reasonable explanation after a 12 hour night shift and is presumably why he hasn't been arrested thus far. He also has no prior convictions that I have seen and he confirmed on here. Did you find anything?

We don't know if there is evidence of any attempted restraint or interaction - there may be but LE haven't said.

I am sure that someone can have a first domestic violence killing without reported priors? Aren't you?
