We don't know if there is evidence of any \attempted restraint or interaction - there may be but LE haven'said.

FGS. he had a gun witch he shot out her spinal cord. Thin about that.

Do you have a link for that? LT Shaw states she was shot in the small of her back and indicates his back right side when he says that and then said she "bled out" it sounds like. Sounds like she was hit in her right main artery, which proved fatal sadly. Her life could probably have been saved but for that fact.

I am an RN. If you are shot in the small of your back the only thing of course you are going to die. You would be paralysed and your femoral artery would be gushing by the gallon.

"We can hear when we are hollow"

That's what my Shamanic Teacher taught me. She was a very wise woman.

We must be a "hollow bone" in order to hear.

Let us each strive to be a "Hollow Bone" so that we can hear.

So are you saying she was shot on this guy's front lawn? Exactly where she was found? Because I don't think that has been stated. But if you have a link can you provide it? TIA.

Well, on the day she died they're texting "love you" to each other.

This could actually lead more to his motive in my opinion. Not less of a motive.
If she was telling him she loves him as current as Friday night/Saturday morning and then he found out later that morning about her trip to see another man...

I could have sworn Nikki said Ally was going to FL during the week immediately after her murder, perhaps on Tuesday? IIRC Nikki indicated that Ally wouldn’t have stayed over to Monday with Wes because it was right before her trip. But I’m really hazy on this. Did I dream it? :) Does someone else remember?

In a March 9th article by Vera, Nikki is quoted as stating:
“‘At the time of her murder, Ally was planning an August 2016 trip to Florida to visit a guy she had casually dated several years ago,’ Nikki said. ‘I have a pile of clothes she purchased for that trip with the tags still attached.’”
New details revealed on Crime Watch Daily TV episode

While I don’t recall her discussing exactly when in August, I did share a “what if theory” earlier that assumed that Ally was planning on leaving for FL the Tuesday following her murder. My sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused (link to my previous post: UNSOLVED - Mi - Alexandra Brueger, 31, Fatally Shot While Jogging, Rose Twp, 30 July 2016 #3).

I don't remember that but it makes sense. She had ten days off, iirc.

I am sorry for being so nitpicky, but in the interest of accuracy, I double-checked, and according to the screenshot Wes posted, he was the one who had ten days off:
“Ally: lol what does your work week look like

Wes: Sun and mon, then I’m off for 10 days
W: So I can pick up incentive

A: Holy Moly lol I work monday day and Friday day”

I don't know how to be sure who is talking in each text box of posts/messages like this. I thought it was Ally saying she was off for 10 days...? She is the one who picked up "incentives" though, is that right? He worked as a full-time, I think? Very confusing

Friday, night shift, 7a.m. to 7 p.m. they are both working (on different floors as usual). He finds out he has to work Saturday night (I'm sure LE has checked his story ) and so A goes home for the weekend . Hence FB's question "Are you coming home" and A's response.
RSABBM for focus:

While my reasoning is speculative and anecdotal, Franz’s question likely didn’t have anything to do with Wes, IMO.

My dad is a non-native English speaker, as well as myself, and thus in private, we communicate with each other in our shared first language, but when around English speakers (e.g., friends and even family members on my mom’s side), we speak English.

Whenever the latter happens, he often doesn’t make sense at first, and I and certainly others, have to ask him what he means, sometimes more than once. It can be frustrating at times, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Ally was experiencing something similar with her dad, perhaps resulting in a snippy answer.

First, Franz didn’t mean to ask whether Ally was coming straight home after her jog, IMO. Maybe he wasn’t aware of Ally’s work schedule for that night and wanted to know whether she was working. Perhaps he had overheard her talking to friends and making plans for later that day and wondered if she was going to be home for dinner.

Based on what Nikki has said about the nature of Ally and Wes’ relationship at the time of her murder and the fact that Wes has made multiple conflicting statements, IMO, Franz’s question does not necessarily indicate they were still romantically involved not that she was still spending time at Wes’ apartment.

For reference, here is what Vera said about the “snippy” comments:

“I would like to address the "snippy" comments since they kept coming up repeatedly. On the day Ally died, after her nap, she went out to the garage to put her running shoes on. Her father was in the garage and asked her (sad irony here), "Are you coming back home." She snapped back with "Well yes I'm coming home." If you think about it, that was kind of a dumb thing for him to ask. Of course she was planning to come home from where her run started. Where else would she go? This came up while interviewing the parents to show that Ally could be snippy sometimes - maybe she encountered someone during her run - said something smart-mouthed and it cost her dearly. If you read the tributes to Ally, you may get a better insight to her personality.”

I am sure that someone can have a first domestic violence killing without reported priors? Aren't you?
Truth. No convictions or 911 calls is not proof it didn't happen. Victims are often ashamed to report or tell anyone and even lie to doctors, or they believe the abusers promises to stop, or they think if they get away they'll be safe. I've seen all of those happen and then seemingly out of nowhere (to everyone else) there was a murder or an attempted murder charge.

Sadly, agree completely. Stop and think of ten girlfriends. Chances are at *least* one of them has experienced physical abuse from a boyfriend/husband where it was just swept under the carpet. Domestic violence is rampant.

The conversation that way makes much more sense (who was who). What I'm curious about and think I might have misunderstood - according to Wes she was not coming over on Saturday because he was working, but she was coming over Saturday night or Sunday. This says he was working on Sunday and she said she had to work on Monday. If I have this right it means:
She wasn't coming over on Saturday because he had to work.
He had to work Sunday but she was coming over anyway.
She was working on Monday but was coming over on Sunday?

Did I read it wrong?

I read it the same way you do. Makes zero sense. And further, I don’t see anywhere on these texts where she was or wasn’t coming over. At all. Only talk abut schedules.
Maybe I missed those?

Wes posted on June 15th:

“We had originally planned on her coming over after work Saturday morning and us spending the rest of that weekend together because we were both off work for the following 3 days.
But then my schedule got changed and I ended up having to be back at work that Saturday night but she was still off.

So rather than her coming over Saturday morning and then just sitting at my apartment alone Saturday night while I worked, we shifted our plans to have her come over on either Sunday or Monday evening instead.
We made this change Friday night while we were both at work so it was last minute.”

No, I didn't see any. And if they'd planned on spending any part of the weekend together surely it would have come up.

Wes had plenty of time here to post evidence of their relationship, but that one playful "I love you" is all he could come up with. Are there pictures of them together after she moved back in with her parents? Pictures of the family gathering they attended together? Texts where they discuss their engagement plans? Or getting a new apartment together? If I was a murder suspect and people were telling me they thought I was making stuff up, I would offer up whatever I could to prove them wrong. Instead of doing that, Wes exploded, threw tantrums and accused everyone from Nikki to LE of lying.

None of this makes any sense to me.

I keep thinking about the white sedan seen in the area around the time of the crime that may, or may not, be involved.

I started looking at statistics to see what percentage of cars in Michigan are white. I couldn't find that, but I learned that the favorite vehicle is a *red* Ford Escape at 17%. Who knew?

Apparently, overall in the U.S., the white Camry is extremely popular. Not sure if that translates to Michigan as well due to winter weather conditions. While white sedans are very common in general, they are often city owned vehicles used for field work as well. Some have logos, some are just part of the city owned "fleet". White sedans are more often driven by "supervisors", whereas other city/govt. workers will drive vans or trucks. Not saying this particular vehicle was being driven by a city/govt worker, but just pointing that out.

What other type of organizations might have a fleet of white sedans for work? Lots I would think. What about a hospital like Novi where Ally worked?
