Whatever he did to be in violation of his PPO must have been pretty stupid considering that he knew that he was in the sights of LE and they would probably like nothing better than find something to jail him for.

According to the MSM article I linked with details regarding the case he is currently being held on in Oakland County, he violated the PPO twice, has had two bench warrants, and failed to complete court ordered anger management classes.

Yes, it sure is, isn't it? Instead I think I'll grow out my hair, stop shaving and heck, LE didn't act on the arrest warrant request months ago, so to heck with those court ordered anger management classes. Toss in a few bottles of wine to celebrate/drown my pretend grief.

This morning it occured to me perhaps LE baited DL into complacency by leaking/announcing that pending arrest warrant request and sitting on it. If so, I gotta admit that was brilliant strategy! Brilliant!!

The mother of a 2-year-old Detroit girl who has been missing since December says she will continue to believe her daughter is alive until there's proof otherwise.

“I have to believe that Bianca is alive until I have something that shows me different. And, as of this time, there is no proof that my daughter is not alive. I’m just asking everyone to keep looking," Banika Jones said, in an interview with Local 4 Wednesday morning.

The mother's message to Lane: “The truth, the truth is the way.”

I pray Banika has a lot of support around her today and in days coming. When the reality of this case sets in, and as she learns of the evidence LE has it is going to be incredibly difficult for her. Especially knowing she trusted DL with their child.

I pray she doesn't beat herself up over bringing Bianca to stay with her dad. I'm sure the number of single parents who do so without problem are in the millions.

Sending out lots of prayers today for Banika and Banika's family.

Thanks for the link. Not suprised by any of it. I admit that I have been "stalking" DL's FB the last few months. While looking around, I noticed that yet another one of his "baby mama's" seemed to have a problem with him. Their daughter broke her arm a while back. While the mother wouldn't say what happened, she did say it did not happen "under her watch". I got the impression it happened while she was with her father. I found that interesting. This woman recently took her kids and moved away, all the way across the country.

I am SO glad this "man" is in jail finally.

Sources have confirmed to Local 4 that the father of a missing 2-year-old Detroit girl will be charged with first-degree murder and first-degree child abuse.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office has planned a news conference Wednesday afternoon.

Oh, wow. I admit, I rarely FB sleuth. I'm not really FB savy so leave the FB sleuthing to those with far better FB sleuthing skills than I.

It really amazes me this 'man' has the bs skills he has, without any indication people out there really do have a bs radar and can see how transparent he really is.

The performance he's given the last few months since his daughter 'disappeared' is chilling. IMO, it indicates just how much of a danger this man can be to anyone, child or adult.

I look at him and think, how can a 6' tall man with a build like his harm a little innocent two year old. Not how can he, as in is it possible. But how can he even consider laying a hand on a tiny child.

He's the type of guy that when convicted makes me wish there was some kind of From The Yard - prison blog with tales of how the inmates are treating D'Andre. I'll stop there before I earn myself a TO.

Thank you, interesting. They must have not been following him too closely to not have known he was locked up in another county.

When was his booking date in Oakland County? Anyone know? Or was it just yesterday?

I see the above link indicates DL was taken into custody on Monday with regards to the Oakland County charges.

DETROIT (WWJ) – Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says 2-year-old Bianca Jones of Detroit is dead, and her father D’Andre Lane is guilty of abusing her, and murdering her late last year.

In an exclusive interview with WWJ Newsradio 950′s Roberta Jasina prior to Tuesday’s news conference, Worthy said she believes Lane acted alone in the brutal murder of his little girl.

Lane claimed that the child was abducted during a carjacking in Detroit December 2.

Worthy says after an extensive investigation, the prosecutor’s office has determined that there was never any carjacking.
