Back to DL's 8 yr old daughters testimony for a moment.

The home Bianca died in, is pretty small. IA reported Bianca snored all the time, but didn't make any sounds that night. My home is probably similiar in square footage to their home. My son rarely snores, but when he is in a deep sleep his breathing is heavy enough, I can hear it down stairs while his room is upstairs.

My point being, even if Bianca did not snore, her breathing should have been heard.

I'm a little confused on the time it is believed Bianca succumbed to her injuries. IA testified she heard nothing overnight, while I seem to recall when the charges were filed it was reported they believed she died the morning of her disappearance. I wonder if by morning, they mean after midnight?

I dont believe we have any idea of the time frame of when she may have passed. The last time the Mother spoke with her as she has stated in interviews was Nov. 26.

If she had received a "whooping" on Dec 1, the evening before her reported abduction, she could have been put to bed and passed some time during the night. I dont believe a young child would be aware enough to hear her sibling breathing especially if asleep.

Also I thought I remember it being reported in MSM that the dog had alerted in her closet? Didnt the sister state Bianca was "whopped" because DL was speaking to her and she refused to respond?

http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2012/04/17/disturbing-testimony-on-day-one-of-bianca-jones-murder-trial/

"Also testifying on Tuesday was a British cadaver dog trainer who said one of his dogs hit on the scent of decomposition in the closet of the children’s room at Lanes’ home"

This just makes me want to cry :anguish: I just keep wondering if:

A. DL could have put her in there as part of his corpral punishment?

B. Poor little Bebe hid in the closet perhaps out of her fear?

If she were in closet with a closed door sister may not be able to hear her especially if her breathing were shallow due to injury :(

--she says that she didn't see her awake that day and didn't hear any sound from her in the car.

--she said that when sleeping she usually snored---but when d'andre put her in the car, she wasn't moving, or making a sound--(if 'sleeping', she should have been snoring.)

She also said that she did not see Bianca awake on the morning of December 2, the day of her reported kidnapping.

The girl told the court that Bianca had a blanket over her face when they left for school that day, and that Bianca didn’t say a word or move when her father put her into the car.

Lane's daughter said that she last saw her sister awake the night before Bianca disappeared.

That morning, she said. her father carried a silent Bianca to the car. She was dressed in purple pants and covered with an animal print blanket. He strapped Bianca in next to her and the toddler did not move or make a sound, she said.

The girl testified that she had met her sister only four to five days before she went missing, but the two shared a bedroom, and Bianca had always snored.

sister testified they shared a room. I wonder if DL put her in the closet while sister was sleeping? Maybe DL changed her out of her pajama's into her clothes in the closet? I wonder if he put her to bed in her clothing or pajama's. If pajama's, were they recovered and did they test for decomp?

--yes, i want to know where bianca did sleep that night.

--and------what does the 8 year old's mom have to say about that night??? and the next morning????

--a room mate lived there as well (i've lost my memory, i do know we found out that d'andre was "carjacked" driving a friend's car-----was it the room mates car?) and was the room mate home that night?

It bothers me to think she was in that dark closet all alone :( I really wonder if she may have been placed there or hid there?

I'm not sure it was ever made clear how many people were in the home that night. I heard DL state in the interview I linked below regarding the paddle, that there was a house "full of people".

What I wonder if the roommate(s) may be the 8yo. sisters mother? :waitasec: I did see in FB postings that she left the state some time after New Year's and returned this week for the hearing with her daughter. Could it also have been her car?

Hmmm, not sure about that. I have done extensive "stalking" of DL's Facebook and those connected with him over the last months (not ashamed to admit it either :) )
For some reason I don't think the sister's mom was the roommate, but I could be wrong. I could have sworn I saw an interview or read something about the roommate being a man, and the other adult living there may have been a love interest of D'andre, but not one of his "baby mama's". I have read so much I get confused. :blushing:
I am looking right now to see if I can find the old article about DL's roommates at the time.

I'm guilty of the FB "stalking" myself. I have a handful I keep my eye on. It was just a thought that crossed my mind this week. But it definately sounds as if there were more than two adults present in the home that night.

This case can be VERY confusing!!

--we know the 8 year old's mom was (at least at one time) d'andre's "love interest"/baby momma, since he's her dad.

--i'm certain the roommate was a male ( i will try to find credible old info on that as well..)

Bumping for Bianca. Let's not forget about this beautiful little girl whose father is most likely responsible for her death. We need to see justice for Bianca and hopefully that will come soon. D'Andre Lane will be back in court on Friday, April 27.

I'm kind of disappointed this next hearing day is on a Friday. :waiting:

I wonder if there will be another delay before day three? If they are expecting this to last three or four days this could take a while. :sigh:

Is Friday here yet? This week seems to be dragging waiting for court.

Keeping the prosecution and those testifying for the prosecution in my prayers.
Keeping Bianca and the maternal family in my prayers.
Even keeping those in D'Andre's family who have also had their lives turned upside down by this sad tragedy, in my prayers.

D'Andre needs to man up and confess what he did and tell the authorities where he disposed of his child. He needs to be a man about facing the consequence, not the coward he is.
