The "Daybell" call. The sound isn't great, hopefully there is a transcript somewhere.

Listening to cross at approximately 6:50.00...

Is she really dialing down that Dee's personal effects were never located, suggesting that Dale would have hidden them where he was comfortable, and since they weren't located during multiple searches, he's innocent? Her BODY was found. That rather eclipses what wasn't recovered.

Day 11 - Trial Live Stream
March 3, 2026

I could sense the spring tightening when the defense tried to object to Gregg Hardy offering an expert opinion on farm tillage because he was just a dairy farmer, but he let it slide. Gregg has been farming a large farm his entire life.

Just got notification that the defense has rested.

11:07 a.m.

The jury was sent home for the day and court adjourned to give time for the prosecution and defense to prepare closing statements.

The trial is expected to resume on Thursday at 9 a.m.

It is at about 1:21 on WTOL' s coverage. They probably weren't going out to eat afterwards anyway, but when she questioned his knowledge and abilities, he may have expressed his opinion of her/to her if they weren't in court.

Did the Defense put on any witnesses?

Did the Defense put on any witnesses?
I sadly didn't get to watch but according to this article, they called just three witnesses:

The defense called Dale’s ex-wife to the stand to talk about their divorce and his cough. The manager of his transportation company also testified.

But the main focus was on Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy, with Dale’s attorney questioning him about multiple components of the case.

Hardy could be seen crying and wiping away tears for much of his testimony.

I think this should be a fairly quick verdict.

Why did the Defense call Mr. Hardy?

I'm watching the testimony from this morning and just don't see where they are going with this?

Are you KIDDING me? Defense is acting like GH will have liability if DaleW isn't convicted?

Because he knows how to cut off the end of a tank????

Whatever the Defense tried to do, it didn't work IMO.

Desperate.

Defense, crash and burn.

(WXYZ) — Closing arguments will take place Thursday morning in the trial for Dale Warner, the man charged with murdering his wife, Dee, in Lenawee County.

Verdict by the end of the day?

I trust the jurors will do their due diligence; for one, they haven't been able to discuss the case yet. They may need/want to decompress first. Then initial poll. Review evidence. Fill out verdict forms. That takes an amount of time.

That said, it'll be a fast verdict.

He sealed his fate when he sealed the tank.

I'm intrigued by the defense asking about the cough DW allegedly had, I am sure that will some how feature in there closings, plus they may through Dee brother under the bus

I misread when I posted the excerpt this morning. I thought closing arguments were day. I've been impatiently waiting all morning to watch.

Same. But realized early that it's tomorrow.

One more day for DaleW to consider his fate.

I hope it's filled with angst.

He had a thousand offramps.
