MI - Nadine O'Dell, 15, Inkster, 16 Aug 1974

If she was disposed of in a dumpster, no trace of her would have been found. Back in the 70s, quite a bit of trash was incinerated.
If Watts buried her, he might have buried her near his home; that's why I'd like to know his street address.

Ok I will try to find his old address

Unidentified Person Case

Could she be a match to this UID? I don’t know if this could be a match but I still think she was a likely victim of Carl Eugene watts. He lived in inkster from 1962 to a point in 1976.

No, this UID was found in 1987 and had only been dead for a couple of days.

If it’s impossible that Nadine was the two Jane does that I reccomeneded then how is it possible that she is the Jane doe found in New Mexico in 1974? The remains were found on December 2nd 1974 which is almost 5 months after she vanished. It stated the UID died about 1-2 days before the discovery.

Who ever said it was possible that Nadine was the UID found in New Mexico? I suppose it's technically possible, but I would consider that a virtual impossibility as well. I don't think that Nadine is any UID; I don't think she's been found. I think Watts killed Nadine within minutes of abducting her and then concealed her body within the Inkster area. Knowing where he lived might help offer some clues. For instance, was he near any ponds? Was he near any industrial parks with a lot of dumpsters? Did he live in a house with a dirt basement? Et cetera, et cetera.

An article stated that the UID was linked to Nadine’s case but it was a long time ago. They do have similarities.

You may be right. Watts killed his victims about a few minutes after abducting them or after he raped them. I personally think Nadine was a watts victim as it states that watts may have had more than 80 victims and Nadine may have been his first or second. One of my friends thought Ted Bundy May have been involved in Nadine’s disappearance but I knew this was not true because Bundy was never recorded to have been in that region of the United States in 1974. I think watts kidnapped Nadine not even 5 minutes after she left her house to walk to Taylor and then killed her. I have not been able to locate an address so can someone help me find watts house. Back in the 1970s most basement floors were dirt and I think there were some ponds in the vicinity where Nadine vanished but I am not sure.

I disagree that "most basement floors were dirt" I've lived in Michigan my entire life, never seen or resided in a house with a dirt floored basement.

I never said Michigan but when my mom was growing up she said that most floors were dirt floors in the 1970s and then They were converted to concrete floors after that

I live in Michigan, too. Most houses built with basements after WWII had poured concrete basements. However, I have seen plenty of old farmhouses in Michigan with basements with dirt floors. Many have been converted to concrete, but in 1974, it wouldn't have been too difficult to find a house with a dirt floor in the basement.

And that's if we're talking basements: many houses in Michigan are still built with crawlspaces instead of basements, and those are always dirt.

Thank you for the info. I also think watts buried Nadine somewhere near his house. I have not been able to find his address

Tomorrow will mark 44 years since Nadine walked down John Daly road and then vanished. RIP Nadine Jean Odell.

This location is about 8 or 9 miles from where Nadine was last seen, and it's a straight shot down Michigan Avenue:

"Human bone found in an embankment of a creek in the city of Canton."

Unidentified Person Case

ETA: In 1974, Canton was still very rural.

We’ve already discussed the theory that Carl Eugene watts may have disposed of Nadine’s body near or in a pong or creek. This is possible!

There was only one bone found? Hopefully there is DNA. Nadine has DNA available.

I think the bone found near the creek is hers.
