Howdy,
You (and others) seem to make no allowance for the grieving of a man who has had his wife and baby boy beaten to death.
Jason is fortunate to have family and friends who will help him in his time of need.

Well, I will agree with you very openly about myself not making an allowance for the possibility JY is grieving, can't speak for anyone else. I don't perceive his actions either before the murder of his wife and child or after that murder as being the actions of a person who really had any thought for them period. I also see his presence in Brevard as hiding and his inability to manage his own affairs and return to Raleigh as a certain identification with guilt. Just my take and JMO.
