No - have seen nothing in print, no reference on SWs and definitely no remarks by LE. JY never went in that house with LE in an effort to determine if anything was stolen. Any claim that it was stolen, is just that - a claim without any foundation.

Hi RC

The HO insurance claim was $27,167. This was for the bio clean up crew as well as drywall and carpet. There was NO jewelry claim (theft or mysterious disappearance).

Note : When Jason is found guilty of murder, the insurance carrier can ask for their $ back, as intentional acts by insureds are excluded.

Hi, I just received this from our appraiser. He told me many of these homes have very similar floorplans and thought this floorplan of a different home had many of the same things as the Young home. It is smaller and doesn't have a side entry garage and is minus the hall bath and Cassidy's br, opting instead for a big open area in the entry with over 16' ceilings. The stairs are different too.

But it does show what I believe is the same Master suite, including bath and office {which they have listed as a br} across the back of the house. Also, imagine the 2 car garage in this plan as a big lovely living room, and the side entry garage to the right. NOTICE THE 2 BIG CLOSETS ON THAT MASTER BEDROOM WALL.

I think we are pretty close on a floorplan. With having a FSBO situation and the county not having floorplans as part of their documentation, this might be as close as we get. I'll PM Purple at CTV and think she will be happy to see this!

ETA: I don't know why this link won't work. I tried to cut and paste the link here twice! I can forward my email from him to someone here who might be able to figure out what is wrong with the link. It pulls up fine from my email. {Big Banging of Head ;}

You will need to upload the PDF file to a host, scandi. Currently it is on your computer, to which we don't have access. Do you have a web site that you could upload to, or maybe one of those freebies like Photobucket?

Not sure if Photobucket takes PDF files, but could try that or something similar.

And this continues to be interesting....
As I was thinking earlier today...much ado about nothing regarding jewelry.

Hi SueY, Thanks ;} No I don't have a website. It is possible he sent a sketch that can't be reproduced so that way he doesn't have to get permission from the person who paid for the sketch to share it.

If anyone has the wherewithall to do something with this file I will email it to you. I know Purple can duplicate it with her software but don't think she belongs here.

Thanks Barney, You did good!

BTW, I just got another mail from the appraiser. He asked me what we had discovered in the case and who we think did it. I wrote back telling him that tonight I would email him a letter with the basics of what we have found out about the case and who we think did it, and followed that up with how Sheriff Harrison and the prosecutor are keeping this investigation very close to the vest.

And of course, included in my mail will be an invite for him to join us here on the forum. He has been very helpful and I hope he joins. Local flavor is always appreciated! YaYa Scandi

Scandi,

Just to clarify - some things in this layout are similar but not identical to Michelle's house correct ? For example the location of the mbr would be similar but meausurements not exact. I realize the garage is wrong and trying to reconcile this to the Wake Co records the room sizes would be smaller in this drawing than what is actually present at the Birchleaf residence. correct ?

Also how similar is the lower floor-example this one shows double doors from the dining area to the deck - is this consistent with the Birchleaf residence? If you know. Thanks.

Jake,

Patricia doesn't want anyone to view the photos because they're 'personal'...yet you've posted "I just looked at the photos". If they're so personal, why do you have them?

Were you fingerprinted amongst those subjected to fingerprinting in Brevard?

It's shame Patricia won't let anyone see them. I'd be really interested.

Because the photos are mine. I was not fingerprinted because I hadn't been in the house prior to the murder.

Interesting that he says he hadn't been in Jason's house prior to the murder. How long did Jason and Michelle live there? And Jake (who is such a great family friend and mentor to Jason) had never been in his house?
Very interesting.......

Did Jake and Beverly take the photos so they have them to add to their "true crime novel" after Jason is arrested?

Kinda like Anne Bird's novel about her half brother Scott Peterson?

JMO of course........
