Scandi,
Just to clarify - some things in this layout are similar but not identical to Michelle's house correct ? For example the location of the mbr would be similar but meausurements not exact. I realize the garage is wrong and trying to reconcile this to the Wake Co records the room sizes would be smaller in this drawing than what is actually present at the Birchleaf residence. correct ?
Also how similar is the lower floor-example this one shows double doors from the dining area to the deck - is this consistent with the Birchleaf residence? If you know. Thanks.
Hi Charlie, Here is a link to the house at 2913 Golden Oak Ct:

The Young house is 35 x 37, including the porch {5 x 22}, with the 37' going across. This house is basicly 34 x 34 with that left wall extended to 40' to make that garage of 20 x 20 possible. This house on Golden Oak is also different in that that makes the long part of the house on the left, going back on the lot. The Young house has the longer part of the house going from side to side, or across The Young house is also the biggest floorplan we have seen, and I am referring to the box of the house where the living area is not including the garage or that 3 car garage bldg at 5505 Pineleaf Dr.
The only thing I am not sure about is the upstairs hall in the Young home. If you take this floorplan we got today, I believe the front left small bedroom, MBR with 2 walk-in closets, MBath and bedroom {office in Young home} are the same only less roomy than in the Young house which has 3 extra feet added on to its width at 37'.
There are 2 bedrooms in the Young home that face the front yard with the high 'Buffaloe' foyer inbetween them. I know the front left br is 15' across. Judging from the size of the rooms in the 5505 home, also a Buffaloe, that right front br has to be about 11.4' across, then add a hallway of 4.6' That would make the foyer about 6' wide. BTW, the right front br also has a hall bath adjacent to it along that hall. I think that hall bath is right at the front of the home, and the door to it is directly across from the door to the left front br.
That hallway upstairs could be open with a half wall or railing to give more of an open feeling. I don't know. And I believe to get to that front left br, when you open its door on the right side of the hall, which is within feet of the front edge of the home, you walk into a small 5 wide x 6 long part of that br that then opens up into the room. That small entry area runs along the front wall of the home {6'}and has a window to the front. It is the same width as the foyer. In this plan of today they show a big closet in that space which is a bit deeper by about one foot.
I am not not sure where the placement of the stairs are the way they were described.
I think the main floor is very similar to the main floor of 5505. The difference is the plan is reversed, so the kitchen would be back right and the family room back left. I think the Living room is left front, and across the foyer is the Dining room at right front. I think close to the center of that main floor is an area with a 1/2 bath and a big pantry. The home listed 2 1/2 baths but did not say the # of brs.
I believe there is a dinette at the back of the Young home that shows on the county sketch and has many arched shaped windows. I saw that in an ariel view. Double doors were really in back in 91, and I do believe it has double doors going into this dinette area. Not really sure about that. I didn't see a deck or patio however, and it doesn't show on the plans
I'll bring the link to the 5505 plan so you can see what I think the main floor pretty much looks like:

Hope that helps. It is hard to read I know.

ETA: Something just clicked about the front stairway while looking at the 5505 plan again.
The Virtual description said you go upstairs a bit to the left. So the stairway going up is on the left. When you reach the top the door to the MBr is directly to the left. Where it shows the right stairs in the 5505 plan, I believe those stairs are not in the Young house, and instead that space is the hallway upstairs. Yes, that has to be right!
