Gojo told us about the college bud and his wife on the way in Friday evening for the big game. A cookout was planned. Even If Michelle was not murdered, this last minute trip to see his mother Friday night would would have raised eyebrows....It would NOT happen

by the way you describe yourselves up there in the hills, i thought it had ominous overtones.

i know even the squirrels are white in brevard, but was hoping that you are tolerant up there. it seems that MF having a boyfriend whose skin is a different color really bothers some of you. and you seem to hate or distrust New Yorkers. i hoped that wasn't the case. it doesn't seem Christian-like to me.

brevard isn't a white supremist type of place is it?
you aren't anarchists or survivalists are you? i know for a fact there are mountain communities in certain states where even deputies have to go up there in twos.

i think mrs. young probably knows those lawmen by name up there. she probably graded their papers. i don't think they would be mean or disrspectful to her.

isn't asheville nearby? there are lots of artists there, and where are the famous potters and folk artists?

i think how this relates to the michelle young murder is that we don't really know the whole story.

we don't know the real jay. we don't know if hostilities existed between the 2 families before this even happened.

i feel sorry for michelle. she just wanted to make a family of her own
and jay killed her. and his family is afraid to ask him about it.

it is very sad.

As discussed once before, expectant parents would be eager to go to work on the new baby's room. The furniture Jason was picking up would allow them to do that. I can understand that. I do not know when Jason would have another chance to get to Brevard without Michelle and Cassie crowding the car. Neither do you.

why on earth would jay drive so many hours to pick up used furniture?

if it were a Roy Rogers or Gene Autry bed, chair and dresser, ok. but not some particle board veneer junk from Sears from the 1970s.

that shows me either jay was REALLY strapped for cash or was quickly trying to get away from the murder scene and establish an alibi.

and why wasn't that stuff in place for the first baby boy?

and especially messing up his football plans w/ his college buddies ---

You are correct there are no red herrings in that list, nor is there a report of missing jewelry. The vacation, I know, is a sore spot for you because you believe LE should have written a full novel about that vacation in the SW. But you never did answer me about your statement of that trip having been long planned and planned around 4 people's schedules - how come that planning did not compensate for Michelle's schedule if it had indeed been planned for a long time? Common sense indicates it should have been.

I don't know. I'll guess. Michelle felt she needed some time with her New York family and friends. Jason had to work and couldn't make that trip at that time. ....I still don't know. Just guessing.
