Yep, that's exactly how a random murderer behaves, get all bloody and take a quick shower. Who wouldn't want to take a chance on being caught all wet, cold and slippery?

Not to mention Nekkid!

I've been following all the posts. Didn't have too much to say on a daily basis. However, I'm bothered by this shower thing. Do we have absolute proof of the killer using the shower? I haven't seen anything official about what was found in the shower. I may be wrong and there is one out there, and I just haven't seen it yet.

Or are we rehashing what one "close to the family" said they had seen?

He may or may not have pondered killing her on the drive after Midnight back to the house. MF-Y had already said she wanted him out of the house and a divorce. Things EXPLODED when he faced her at 2 am and he then acted on sick emotions and slaughtered her.

Wonder if Roger Sr will try NG by reason insanity ? Yes, I think Daddy will take the case to trial and Junior will be at his side as "student attorney".( if the Young's can afford his fees). After all Roger Smith Jr is more accustomed to defending DWI's and shoplifters. Wonder if he has ever defended a murder case in his 7 year law career ?

If it was a random murderer, dont you think he/she was probably local? Now, if I had to drive all the way back to Hillsville, VA, I would most likely take a shower. That's a lot of road to travel. Bigger chance of getting pulled over for something.

No, I don't think there is proof. Jake did report there was blood on the shower door however.

I think the main reason we think that is the NOI asked for a foot 'impression'. That would be one of the bare foot, and might show the contour of a foot if it was set in something softer than the foot. Also, if the foot was wet from having been in the shower, it would leave a distinct impression in carpet. If left alone and allowed to dry, the impression of the foot would retain its shape until vacuumed or walked on. Scandi

We don't know rape....the AR doesn't rule that out.

We don't know burglary/robbery....there is some dispute about jewelry.

Random.....LE says not.

Have you seen the AR report? Rape (or sperm other than her husbands) should have been either ruled in or out depending on DNA found in Michelle. The ME would have done a rape kit on Michelle because of the way she died. It is standard.

That's what I figured, too. I have said before LE released an incomplete AR without telling anyone it was incomplete. OR.... ME just didn't think the rape kit was necessary.

However, IF "Joe Blow" were stopped in his car, there were only about 302 million other possibilities for where the blood came from.
