why is anyone agreeing the killer took a shower? just because you said you saw blood on the shower doors? :waitasec:

Lets not forget Jake loves the attention these boards give him. He talks in circles with his mountain wit and he really adds...well no much to the discussion. If the blood in the shower is real , that is very damning for brother Jason. My bet is Jake is toying with us because he knows it is 'exclusive information" ....NOT

Not the only one, but I'll let that go for now.

Your "motive" indicates to me you thought JY-Y had a plan. He thought, "If I do this, I will get...."

Money? .....Not.

Freedom?..... Not.

A nicer house?..... Not.

A better job?..... Not.

A better wife?.... Not.

Afraid I can't come up with your "long list" of motive.

You really think he is so stupid he didn't realize he would be the prime suspect? As such, none of these things would come to him? Come on, Barney!

--Jake

Money? About a million dollars
Freedom? Well he could make a lot more "BOODY" calls without wife and kids at home.
A nicer house? I reckon a million dollars could help ith that...
A better job? Nothing would help with that given his erratic employment history.
A better wife? Well he was screwing one of her best friends, so apparently he felt he could do better than what he had.

Sorry but I can think of a million reasons on a list of motives...

Does this mean you're going to ignore the previous mountain wit on this board? What--not give me the attention I crave?

Darn.

Show me the money! You think Jason doesn't know a killer cannot benefit from his crime? Come on.

He tries to find freedom by risking Death Row. Doubt it!

{Sigh} Not that it matters....but again, I saw no blood on a door. The blood was on the shower WALL.

I think I was agreeing with somebody....not you, I reckon.

Oh man, this is WAY too easy.

I will sorta believe that Jason isn't interested in the money, when gets a real job and quits mooching off of family.

But, if he really wants to convince me, then he will never ask for Michelle's "blood money".

I'm not holding my breath...are you Jake?

He must be busting a seam about now...so close, yet so far away.

He wouldn't be the first Jake. The sad reality is that many men do murder their wives just for the freedom. These men are so self-absorbed with a deep seeded hatred for the woman, that they see no alternative to murder. In the heat of the moment they are not thinking of the consequences (death row).

Jilly,
Your above post described the Scott Peterson trial and the Michael Peterson trial. SP, for whatever reason, didn't divorce Laci.He saw it easier to kill her and their unborn child. MP could have easily divorced Kathleen, but he instead chose murder. :furious:

IMO, that's exactly what happened to Michelle Young and her unborn baby. The facts are so classic........The wife is found murdered but this time in the home no less. After the wife is found, it's revealed that the husband was having some type of affair. Forensics should tie this together nicely, but for some reason it hasn't.

How right you are!

Funny thing is these guys want OUT, yet they adore the life that they have become accustomed to living.

So, what do they do? They kill the goose that they think will lay the "golden" life insurance egg.

So incredibly sad. When will they learn?

Well of course he knows that NOW.

Sorry, but that argument is just silly to me. Most people know that, but it doesn't stop people from killing their spouse and trying to fool LE and everyone else into believing it wasn't them. It happens more often than you think. Also, people will kill in order to obtain relatively small amounts of money. It's not always for millions of dollars, sometimes it's far less than that. The people who kill then try to claim life insurance money do know they can't benefit-but they are arrogant enough to think they will never get caught. I'm sure Scott Peterson, Justin Barber, Michael Petersen & Della Sutorius (just the tip of the iceburg) all knew that people who murder their spouses aren't "supposed" to benefit monetarily from that act, but it didn't stop any of them from killing their spouses and trying to get the money anyway. And all of them were convicted.

Excellent post! I don't know why this man thinks that Jason Young is any smarter than any of the rest of these murderers. I do believe JY is arrogant enough to believe that he could get away it.

Oh, man, nothing's easy for me!

Even the job thing is hard for me. You're saying he has no job, yet others of us have heard that he does. Hard to understand.

The "blood money" is hard, too. Why does anyone buy insurance? To provide for the survivor and Cassie. Poor Cassie is going to be burdened by "blood money"? Poor Cassie.

It's even hard for me to hold my breath.

...I reckon...
Are you a big fan of Billy Bob Thornton? Isn't this the phrase that the character in Sling Blade said all of the time...I reckon... :waitasec:

So, tell us about the job? The one in Charlotte that fell through? LI is to provide for the surviving spouse, as long as he's not the murderer, and of course it's there for Cassidy. Until Jason is willing to be deposed, he won't see any of that insurance money. That's not fair to Cassidy.

...Until Jason is willing to be deposed, he won't see any of that insurance money...
Can you think of ANY reason why an innocent spouse would not work with police or be willing to be deposed by an insurance company??????

NONE!

Naw, I reckon I just grew up with that phrase and have seen no reason to quit. But if it annoys people, I will quit.

I do think it is important in an age of homogenization , process in which a mixture is made uniform throughout. Generally this procedure involves reducing the size of the particles.

for people to keep their linguistic quirks. Do you have any?

Believe me, Cassie is well-provided for. All I can say about the job is that he does have a good one.
