I'm currently reading the CNN transcripts, so forgive me if this has already been discussed elsewhere -
It states that he hired 3 attorneys quietly and skipped @ 4am.
Does this mean he hired the attorneys BEFORE he skipped (like, middle of the night?) I thought I recalled hearing he already had a lawyer or two? WHere does the 3rd come in? Can you hire an attorney in the middle of the night? If so, Not to be rude, but do Military members make that kind of money? I would think it wouldn't be cheap to retain someone, of a case of this caliber, the charges pending etc. If I"m recalling the amount that certain ranks are paid, combined w/ having a small child, regular bills and stuff...well...I think ya'll know where I'm going with this one?

Any chance this might have come into play?
I agree! I'm not sure if his attys were military or civilian, but I'm pretty sure if they were military, you don't have to pay them. I like the theory of the
