I am a motive guy. Motive comes first for me. What is the motive?

Well, I would surmise that since Sherrill was “available” for about three hours that she was not the ‘target.’

I would speculate (and the police already said it was ‘sexual assault’) that someone at one of the graduation parties just followed her home and lured her outside when he pulled up and she looked out through the cracked blinds and recognized him.

Motive: hormones and alcohol.

Agreed. I throw in George’s as possible meeting & follow home place too, in my theory. JMO

I would add one other factor. This can’t be confirmed but I believe it to be true.

Whoever did this had knowledge of police tactics and investigation techniques. I know of such an individual.

I believe this crime scene was staged. Set. David Asher said the crime scene just didn’t ‘look right.’

That was somewhere on the videos and or write-ups as I recall.

He and I were not exactly busom buddies but that is a story for a different time. But I find that very interesting. What is a crime scene supposed to look like? I think he was onto something there. I deduce it was that the perp knew how to confuse and confound the investigation.

I hadn't even caught the fact that the phone call isn't mentioned at all in the report, nor is the 18-people who supposedly traipsed through the house. Interesting?

Police speculated it may have been a sexual assault, but they never came out and declared that it was a sexual assault.

How do you know they had knowledge of police tactics? It would be more likely that who ever did this just got lucky. It would be nice if you didn't wrongly try to accuse people of this crime, just because they may have butted heads with you over the years on their theory versus yours. You are referring to the person from Joplin that you have been accusing on Topix of this crime, aren't you. The one that use to use the screen name monkeyman aren't you. I have read many of the exchanges between you two, and I'm confident after reading many of that individuals posts, that you are respectfully wrong. It sounds like this person is just tired of you wrongly accusing them. In many of the exchanges I read between you two, this person more than explained to you where they were that night, but you aren't letting it go. And I will add that I have seen several exchanges in which you also accused others on forums that disagreed with you, of this crime. Whats that all about?

I can appreciate the hormones and alcohol, but triple murder? And if Suzie came outside, why involve mother and Stacy? Got to think someone would have cracked under questioning if they never intended to pull off a triple homicide. Guilt is a very powerful emotion.

I have thought the same about the purses. Just doesn’t make sense to me that anyone would rummage through the purses and leave money behind, esp. $900. I agree with your theory, they or one of them encountered evil that night. I do not discount the waitress at George’s sighting of them, either.

The way I've always understood the purses....the purses were rummaged through by the adults, such as Mrs. McCall, late Sunday evening, trying to find any clue as to where the women were. And the lined-up purses were one of the first things Janis noticed and thought odd.

I would agree with that assessment.

I recall the adults rummaging through the purses for the same reason as well. My understanding is that they told police they had done this, and told police where the purses had originally been placed. I have always thought it was not right for all three purses to be sitting in Susie's room next to each other. I feel that someone other than the girls or Sherrill placed those purses there. Question is why? Were they returning the purses to the house from somewhere else, and just placed them all down next to each other. Was someone looking for something in the purses that didn't have anything to do with a need for money? Were they looking for drugs they thought may have been in one of the purses, or something that may have identified who they were? Confusing.

Who did I accuse of this crime other than Cox? And what I said was that Cox concocted a phony alibi he didn’t need anyway. That is a matter of the public record.

You are asserting that I am referring to a specific poster. You are drawing a conclusion that I never made. There have been several posters over the years who behaved rather strangely beginning with the person who promoted the garage story. He was subsequently banned in the first thread.

If you want to read strange posts look at “skewed view’s post. While I have no reason to suspect him, his posts are certainly eye opening.

I'm just going by what you've posted in the past, and what I've seen you post regarding this individual on topix. And you have accused this individual in the past more than once, even thought they seemed very legitimate in their denial of any involvement. When did Cox ever have police training or knowledge of police tactics? And Kathee Baird is the one who promoted the parking garage theory. She isn't a guy, she is a woman.

The only person I have suspected was Cox.

Who are you referring to?

The person who used to post on here and on topix as monkeyman. I read many posts where you two got into it, and you acted like this person was involved in the crime. I was just reading your posts and ran across these nasty exchanges between the two of you.

You know, I never thought there was another case like this one, but I'm shock to learn that Juli Sund, Carole Sund, and Silvina Pelosso were abducted/murdered in 1999 from a hotel room in Yosemite.

Cary Stayner who committed the crime left know evidence of himself being in the hotel room after using a ruse to get the women to let him in during the middle of the night.

Stayner kidnapped the mother, her daughter, and her daughter's friend from the room without making noise as well.

Kinda makes you wonder if Stayner ever took a trip to Springfield Missouri?

I have said all I intend to regarding your assertions.

May we discuss the case instead?

As to Kathee, if you will take the time to review Thread #1 you will see the posts of the individual in question. Kathee and this gentleman were very much involved in the garage business.

He once asked me to authenticate the bonifides of the first person who used the concrete scanner. So far as I know that was where the garage business started. I wasn’t even involved but did look st him and was impressed. Norland, who was an expert in this technology was highly regarded and helped in the forensics st the 2001 World Trade terror attack. He merely was asked to investigate the garage as an expert in the field.

In the early days of this discussion Kathee and this individual were prominate in the old “Air Alex” site. Much of that rumor mongering have bled over into other sites discussing this case.

I'm not ascertaining anything missouri mule, just pointing out the accusations you've made against this individual in the past. These posts from you are on both topix, and websleuths.

Or, if the same dynamic existed with the springfield three. I have always thought that it was very possible the the women were very scared, having just been confronted by a violent person unexpectedly in the early hours of that morning , who also possibly had a weapon, and that may be that is how or why they were able to get the women out of the house with out the whole neighborhood hearing the incident.
