I’ve seen this in several couples over the years when a spouse comes to a new or deeper commitment to their faith, their hobbies, habits and focus of attention can dramatically shift … rather like an infatuation phase… and the other partner feels slighted or cutoff from the time, attention and focus they used to enjoyBeau said, he was not just jealous in general, but jealous of Jesus. . I don't quite understand how that could factor in to reality , but that's what he said. It was a motivating factor for him....
Ironically I’ve seen it equally in couples where the offended spouse is not Christian/religious, is lukewarm/occasional Christian, and even the on fire at church all the time, praying for my spouse to be saved type Christian-
It seems mostly to do the the change in dynamics at home, church and community that spark the jealousy…
That could have been part of the dynamics here if she suddenly got super involved and focused … moo
