I was out picking flowers for my cat's memorial display- is the defense really resting today after the last witness? Thanks!
IMO I think it depends on the questioning that the defense did. This witness went totally left field with this carbon monoxide thing and I think Blackwell is trying to tell the jury that the defense is throwing so many different theories out there because even THEY don’t know what killed George Floyd.I've watched trials for decades, and when the state comes at the witness in attack mode on cross he or she believes the testimony he's or she's given possibly hurt the state's case at least with one jury.
Jmho
If this is their last witness, it IMO may be because they couldn’t find anyone else to testify to such absurdity!
The defense is really resting after this last witness?
I think DC is a murderer and deserves to be put away forever.
But I also think he deserves a full and competent defense and I'm not sure that he's received one. That concerns me a lot. No matter how heinous the crime, everyone deserves fair council and a fair trial. That is why we have a justice system.
Thanks @BUF...If you will post Cathy Russon's tweet reporting, I will pass on the task.https://twitter.com/cathyrusson/status/1382403305683382273
#DerekChauvinTrial - JUROR: Pool notes: Juror in seat #13 (PJ52) Black man, 30s, "seems to have fallen asleep a few times" during this morning's testimony. This is not the first time a pool reporter has noted that this same juror appears to nod off.

Glad I wasn’t the only one nodding off. Wonder if he was dreaming about resting comfortably in the prone position in FL by a pool? “Hypothetical” of course and JMO@cathyrusson

He either needs to stay awake or the judge should call a mistrial. JMOHOW is he still a juror???? They need to let him go home and have a nap.
I agree. S had more attitude yesterday during his mic drop cross!I like Mr. Blackwell very much; didn't catch the beginning of cross, but watching now. I think he's coming across fine...
That's what I thought when I saw the video...Was GF chewing a piece of gum?
