(Wow, exhibit 17, still photo of DC on GF’s neck - very powerful photo. We’ve all seen the video and images before, but exhibit 17, that’s one hell of a picture, jmo.)

"Like the fish in the bag."
He describes how GF faded.

Witness had previously described taking his son fishing, they caught four bass and put them in a bag where they suffocated.

(This is one hell of a witness testimony. Very powerful and clear. Good luck defense with the cross examination on this one. Not a chance...Jmo.)

Williams tells Frank he tried to stay on the curb, describes Thao controlling the crowd and #GeorgeFloyd "speaking in a distressed way".

Williams describes seeing #GeorgeFloyd "fade away.. he was going through distress because of the knee".

Frank, "Did you notice anything about his breathing..?"

Williams, "Just like MMA, you can tell when someone gets tired.. his breathing was getting tremendously heavy..."

Williams describes asking for the former officers to check #GeorgeFloyd's pulse.

Frank, "Did you draw on your training and experience.. to get an idea of what this officer was doing physically?"

Williams describes position of the knee and calls it a "blood choke".

#DerekChauvin stands up and is identified by Williams. This comes after Williams described making eye contact with Chauvin on the scene.

This is interesting, because based on other trials I've followed, Defense would be objecting to so much witness is saying. Oops, there they go, starting to object.

Witness is credible but giving lots of own opinions.. surprised there hasn’t been more objections!!!

#DerekChauvinTrial - When asked if he remembers ofc. Tao saying anything, Williams smirks, "Yeah, he did was America does and he blamed it on drugs for being a black man on the ground.." No objection from defense

Possibly purposely no objections.. maybe hoping to go for ineffective counsel if convicted? I’d love to know what he’s writing on that pad!

I bet like me, you've asked yourself "What would I do if I witnessed this?" I would have been scared of LE.

Me neither. I think you would never be the same.. no one deserved what happened that day and so many times it could have been changed if that one person had actually taken a beat and actually saw what he was doing. Makes me so angry. This video breaks me hearing him beg xx

IMO witness obviously knows what he's talking about re: choke holds etc.

He's being used as expert witness based on training in mix martial arts.

Donald Williams told the court that George Floyd was repeatedly pleading with police that he was in distress.

“He was speaking in a distressed way,” Mr Williams said. “He was vocalizing to the officer, he said my stomach hurt, I can’t breathe, my head hurts, I want my mum. Those are the things he repeatedly said.”

As time progressed, Mr Williams said Mr Floyd was slowly fading away the longer a knee was on his neck.

“His eyes slowly rolled to the back of his head. You see the blood coming out of his nose. You heard him tell them before he stopped speaking ‘my stomach hurts’,” Mr Williams said.

“From there on, he was lifeless, he didn’t move, he didn’t speak. He didn’t have no life in him no more on his body movements.”
