I understand that, but 'thought he was dead' didn't stop the ER doc from still trying for a half hour. I don't know... it bothers me... paramedics had just got on the scene, he could have stopped breathing just as they pulled up, they didn't know how long it was, why wait minutes before working on him?

I think they started working on him as soon as he was loaded into the ambulance, from what I remember. They also were not told that the officers had been kneeling on Floyd's neck and back for nine minutes, which would have been an important detail.

I AM SO TICKED OFF THIS MOMENT. The Dr. From the medical center is testifying about blood gases like CO2. OMG. This poor man took all his last breaths while laying at the back of the car inches from the muffler pipe. He was put on the ground at the back of the car, no camera there, to breathe by the exhaust while they were stopping his breathing.

I believe that you might be mixing up two different gases. Carbon monoxide is what would come out of a muffler pipe.

Carbon dioxide is CO2

Can I ask where have you got the "clapping" from? If it's in reference to this picture, he's not clapping. He's like stretching/playing/counting with his fingers. Think it would be highly damaging if he was clapping and I've seen no footage of that.

O no sorry that was just my opinion. I personally don't see clapping here. I see someone stretching, playing or similar with their fingers. Don't think it's ever been raised in court what he's doing in this pic, so I'm more inclined to say (unless they're leaving it as a clanger near the end) that he's not clapping. MOO.

Carbon monoxide, while deadly, is in small composition compared to nitrogen gases and carbon dioxide. I am not mixing up my gases. Biochem major here. Inappropriate to lay anyone's head near the exhaust pipe.

What I thought was noteworthy about that hospital photo was that Chauvin was the only one not wearing a mask.

That's right, that's where I heard it. I think he also mentioned shootings. Maybe he was looking out for Bloods while he was standing guard.

I would hope not. Unless he was praising the paramedics for their efforts. They didn't give up for 30 minutes.

Just filed in court -- Morries Hall -- who was in the car with George Floyd -- is granted permission to appear in court tomorrow in civilian clothes. Apparently he is currently in the Hennepin County Jail -- and asked permission to avoid wearing jail scrubs at the morning hearing

That hearing is scheduled for 830am -- and it is a motion to quash his subpoena to testify. Hall is pleading the fifth -- to avoid incriminating himself by testifying in the trial.

The first call was a code 2, a non emergency call, (injury to the mouth) then while they were on route it was upgraded to a code 3. Maybe that's why? I don't think we know how far away they were or what the traffic was like. In any case, LE had plenty of time to start CPR.
