I would be an awesome show of confidence, imo, if he did keep the rebuttal short.I hope Blackwell keeps it short and sweet.
More like throwing crap on the wall hoping something sticks IMO.I'm glad that Nelson is covering all of the pertinent points of this case for the jury. JMO
Clearly the force is completely INTENTIONAL but I think Chauvin in his depraved state thinks to this day it was reasonable. The intent is in regards to use of force. The easiest way to understand it is - Did DC intentionally use unlawful force that caused the death of GF. IF yes, then that is 2nd degree murder.
If you believe the force was accidental, even if unlawful then 2nd degree murder charge is off the table.
Probably to keep his hands from shaking. Why is Chauvin squeezing his fingers like that?????
If this goes another 26 minutes, this is agony
I think he is doing a very good job. The State left a lot of things open for Nelson to bring up that can lead to reasonable doubt by the jury. JMOMore like throwing crap on the wall hoping something sticks IMO.
You're right. Since the defense only has this one shot at explaining their points Nelson has to cover everything right now. And that takes considerable time. JMOI guess I'm different than most. Long closings by either side does not bother me at all. EN only gets one turn...not two. It's his duty to present as much as he can to the jurors.
I've found both closings very interesting. I've listen closely to all that's been said by either side.
I've seen longer closings than these.
