Chattanoogan:

They Attack Gangs Instead

This writer guy also seems to think the incident happened "about ten months ago."

Also: "universally believed." Whatever.

Thank you, wfgodot.

The last sentence in the article They Attack Gangs Instead :

Instead, FBI Agent-in-Charge Don Always (sic) and Gov. Bryant sent a message back. They are no longer going to play defense. “We are definitely more pro-active.”

I am not in LE I work along side LE for SAR missions. I am a co-founder of a non-profit SAR group and nationally certified through NASAR and FEMA. The two stingrays I am referencing the state of WI has are smaller they would fit in a suit case in a carry on bag including the antenna. The equipment is more than just a laptop such as the photo shown. But there is no need for a special equipted vehicles any vehicle would work to attach the magnetic antenna to stick to. It could easily blend in the antenna is slightly longer and has a spiral part wrapped around the main antenna. I could easily pick out a vehicle if it has the stingray device connected but I'm not sure if it would send off a red flag with others if your not paying close attention.

Thanks, bbbd4u. Sounds like a good tool for LE undercover work, too.

Thanks for that, DeDee. Looks like Panola County has got a real ringer working with them: Mr. Efrem Zimbalist Alway. If he solves this one, I'm predicting he'll go straight from being SAC in the Jackson, MS field office to being the next FBI Director in D.C. Why heck, he's been EVERYWHERE else already...

Thank you I will do that!

No matter the amount of "new" details passed our way, I find it ever-so-hard not to believe that grievous mistakes were made very early on in this case's handling, and that what we've seen since amounts to a doubling-down on (to put it politely) misconceptions in order to wall off truth.

The site you're trying to link is blocked by Websleuths. Is there another site that could be linked that has the information you wish share with us?

I'm nosey so I had to go looking and if I have the right link it's an article that combines information from other sources into a single piece.

http://www.fox13memphis.com/news/fo...n-the-murder-of-jessica-chambers-case/8454360

http://www.clarionledger.com/story/.../gang-offensive-underway-north-miss/77349156/

And from fbi.gov:
https://www.fbi.gov/jackson/press-r...indicted-nine-arrested-in-operation-bite-back

The unlinkable piece includes opinions and conjecture which make it obvious why it's blocked from WS.

Sorry! My bad. Nope, but it was essentially the same info from the other publication this week...

O/T, but have any of you read about this case? I'm curious about both arrested (dad/stepmother), as well as the bio mom, if any of you sleuths out there have any spare time to do some digging... The only similarity to JC's case was the abundance of news coverage initially, and then nothing.
Not sure how to insert a link here, but this is how it is listed here on WS.

'KS - Adrian A.J. Jones, 7, beaten to death. Father feeds body to pigs. *ARRESTS*'

For those Websleuthers with a curious bent, you can right click on the original bleeped link, slip down to properties, highlight the readable portion of the link, i.e. that information -after- the **** (just numbers and text, none of the upfront *'s), then do a cut and paste into BING, or Google, or any other search engine. It will find that particular number and text string, which will then take you where you want to go.

A circuitous route, I confess, but for good reasons -- those stated above by bluesneakers.

No, I hadn’t heard of this one before, MSCJgrad, but as with Jessica's murder it does sound pretty gruesome.

Not to make light of either the crime or the victim, but I once had a co-worker who used the same stock line for anyone who came into our office looking for someone other than the co-worker: “He’s out back feeding the hogs. But he fell in and the hogs ate him.” Now I guess I understand just what he meant, after all these years.

This murder occurred appx 70 miles from my home in TN. I should have kept up better with the details. All I know I'm not surprised the home grown "authorities" investigating have seem to bungled it from the beginning. I'm going to do some real research and be back if I can add anything of value. Tragic and brutal....

ETA- I certainly didn't mean to imply the sleuths here have not done "real" research. I was speaking only of myself that has read a few MSM articles and not any digging. Just to clarify.
