I have learned from AM, since the commissioners meeting they have received a 2nd threat on their lives and personal property through their attorney, on November 29, 2021. They were informed their private home would be burned down. Since Rebekah's Missing Case is considered a "river accident" why are they receiving threats and who feels threatened by them? They are only parents searching for their daughter and seeking justice. Also to my knowledge the Sheriff has not requested assistance from DCI as requested by the Commissioner. What is the Sheriff worried about? His department is small and already overtaxed not to mention he has no detectives or investigators. You would think he would welcome the help. The Sheriff reports to the County Commissioners. Why would he arrogantly disobey the commissioners he reports to?

Valley Press features a listing of Law Enforcement calls titled Mineral County Law Round Up. I believe Valley Press is a weekly paper. This July 28 issue shows a response to MM 72: Suspicious Activity, I-90 EB MM 72, Deputy responded. AM remembers seeing this previously listed as 911 response now listed as suspicious activity. No screen shots were taken of the previous wording. BUT what we also see of interest is another entry: Suspicious Activity, I-90 EB MM 75, Deputy responded. This is just 3 miles east of MM 72. We wonder if it had anything to do with the call at MM 72? Does anyone know how to find out? Unfortunately times are not provided.

Mineral County law roundup

Look at this:

One Way Transport, Superior EMS responded transported patient from Mineral Community Hospital to a hospital in Missoula.

Medical Assistance Required, River Street, Superior, Superior EMS responded.

Transport, River Street, Superior, Deputy transported inmate for medical care.

Isn't the sheriff's office on River Street?

This now crosses state authority, and should be taken over by a branch of LE that can work across state lines. Rebekah's parents live in Virginia, right? Whoever is behind these threats must have a significant amount of power, connections and influence (or think he does) if he's planning an arson attack across the country, and putting hits on multiple people presently in Montana. All this is doing is building a case that Rebekah did not disappear by accident. Insurance fraud could be behind this after all. I hope investigators for insurance companies have been alerted to this possibility.

I am sorry that Rebekah's parents are being abused in this way. Montana seems to be a very hostile place.

I would hope and expect that USAA has its own investigators to pre-approve any payout; would be good to help them out, tho!

Hiring hitmen and cross-country arsonists must be an expensive proposition. A lot of money could be involved!

I hope I’m allowed to share this podcast where the podcaster critiques the county commissioners meeting and provides insight on some of the key players involved in Rebekah’s case. Be sure to read through the show notes he provides as well. Real eye opener about Two Bear Air and the first deputy on scene that searched Rebekah’s car

Why is there a round up in the first place? Why is there no advanced system like f.i. P2000 or the like, a communication system for emergency services used in the Netherlands, where all 9-1-1 calls, requesting help from police, ambulance and the fire department/incidents are registered. But most off all made public. Something like this: p2000-online.net I've see such reporting also in the US.

I guess again a lack of resources, no budget for state-of-the-art equipment and ICT. The commissioners meetings are public. As you can read in the minutes, I posted below, they have a lot of problems down there. The Sheriff is very busy with getting his fleet in order, the call-out policy and fees, salary for dispatchers, the dispatch radio tower (1994) has surpassed its lifespan, etc.

Is that the reason the 9-1-1 call about Rebekah's stuff found on the beach is so hard to get, because there wasn't a proper registration?

It seems someone is getting more and more scared and upset, now the family keeps on "shaking the tree", so to speak. How terrible for the family. Was there any follow-up on the first threat, since the meeting of November 26th? Did AM contacted DCI? Did she check out if a request was made? Also is it allowed for a Sheriff to disobey the commissioners. No reprimands? Sorry for all the questions.

Maybe more questions should be asked by those responsible in LE in Montana, especially in these water mysteries.

For example, when Jacob Hogsett was found dead and assumed to have fallen off a cliff into the Clark Fork River last year, did the police-coroner actually look into the case? Or did they just make assumptions?

A quick search shows that a Jacob Hogsett had a criminal record from a robbery of a victim he met at Casey's Bar in Whitefish.

FindLaw's Supreme Court of Montana case and opinions.

Was this an accident, or a suspicious death? No witnesses were reported. The "fell off a cliff" theory had no further explanation. They didn't say they he was known to police.

The podcaster indicated that he had made contact with the DCI spokesperson and that DCI will be entering the case. Is this correct? Glad to see an investigative reporter get interested in the case.

My last communication with AM, she had not confirmed DCI entrance yet.

Without treading over old ground, it is my opinion that RB and her dog Cerebus did not accidently drown in the Clark Fork River at the Alberton Rocks. I am also convinced that DB abducted RB and her dog after being tipped off to their location by his caretaker. I have been wrestling with how DB was able to abduct a grown woman and her large dog in broad daylight at a public recreation area. I have come to the conclusion that he must have had help and that his caretaker is his most likely accomplice.

I wish we knew more about the caretaker. Is the caretaker a man or woman? How old is the caretaker? What is the caretaker's duties? Does the caretaker live at the house with DB? If the caretaker is a woman, are she and DB romantically involved? Does the caretaker have a connection to Sheriff Mike Toth or his deputies? We likely won't find the answer to these questions until RB is found and DB is brought to justice. MOO

DB would not only have needed help with the abduction, but also with staging RB's personal items at the beach to make it appear to be a drowning. And who knows, maybe with the 911 call as well.

I agree with your thoughts. I'll answer the questions I can. The caretaker is a woman. By appearance I would guess the caretaker to be in her 40's. The caretaker did not live in the house and they were not romantically involved. She has a wife. I can't confirm but I have heard that the caretaker was let go by the agency. I don't know why.

How long has the caretaker been taking care of DB? Did she come to the house even before RB moved out?

Hoping I’m not veering too far into the not allowed territory since caretaker is not a named POI but it is my own opinion that they aren’t involved in the abduction bc there isn’t romantic involvement & she is married to a woman. However, if the facts change and romantic feelings were found to be involved, I could definitely see how she allegedly could’ve helped. I just can’t see a woman helping with serious felonies (especially someone who is involved in healthcare) unless she had some romantic feelings for the person that she was involved in those alleged crimes with. Another man helping? Def could see it because that kind of thing happens much more frequently, but I doubt the caretakers involvement. MOO of course!

ETA that I 100% believe her ex to be involved in her and her dog’s disappearance. Especially due to current sheriff and law enforcements way of handling this case.

That was my initial thought as well, however even without a romantic interest, the caretaker may have developed a strong loyalty to DB. Narcissists like DB are very adept at manipulating people. It is also possible that the caretaker, for whatever reason, had developed a hatred toward RB. I'd also be interested to know if there are any other potential accomplices that we haven't heard about.

I'm not sure of that but I do not believe so. Although on social media they comment as if they were all "besties", AM disputes that. At one time RB was the caretaker; she became the paid caretaker during the marriage. This is not how she met him however. Understand all through their marriage, RB believed DB was a retired/disabled Marine Special Ops. I'm not sure exactly what his disabilities are or were or how all this came about because I have seen a picture from RB instagram (sorry I'm not sure if I can say that social media here forgive me if I can't) showing a very buff DB on the back of a truck in the oil field he worked at in ND from 2018 captioned "My Marine"
