Orlando-based missing-children's organization Never Lose Hope Foundation hired NeJame to help the couple.
NeJame said he is representing George and Cindy Anthony and not their daughter,

The check was presented by Never Lose Hope Foundation, not Nejame. (I was there and stayed for entire meeting)

The foundation is Nejame's boss in this and the check was a gesture that things were worked out between the A's and Tim. How is that a conflict of interest?

Sounds more like a pay-off than a gesture, to me ..

LP may get lucky and find Caylee in that water, but if he does, it will only be luck. It won't be because of any of the ridiculous 'clues' he's created/and or imagined, IMO. According to LP, Caylee was dumped in the Amscot dumpster on the 27th....no, she was buried in the woods on the 27th...no, she was placed in the dumpster near Tony's apartment on ??...no, she was buried in the woods on the 18th...no, she now was dumped in the river on the 25th.

Gimmie a break! How can anyone take this guy seriously?

I believe he also said Caylee was in the pool ..

I don't buy the crap LP's selling ..
He's out to make a buck and that's exactly what he's doing ..
In fact, he's been doing it since he bailed Casey out of jail ..

That whole LD thing should be interesting .. :waitasec:

ok here: http://www.buildaforum.com/renegadeinvestigations/index.php?action=vthread&forum=15&topic=225
"A portion of your membership fee goes into the search fund for Texas Equusearch or you may donate directly to the search fund on the members page here."

As of 11/12 his link for requesting $9.95 to subscribe to his page, and link for donating to TES has been taken down. He is now offering refunds....because he has not donated a dime of the $ to TES. and now his a** is in trouble for pocketing it.

They are NOT in trouble at all. They are shutting down their website because they are tired of the BS that is being reported etc. They have the money for TES as reported in the lengthy statement from Rob. However they chose to refund all the money back to the members and disassociate themselves from TES.

On the thread "Dennis M (Kid Finders Network) stole all of the memorial flowers for Caylee!" there is a post that says Dennis M is a felon. Does anyone know how he got this honor? (cough, cough)

If I remember right he assaulted the leader of another similar group, and was also arrested for impersonating a police officer. I can't find the links, anyone have them?

Seems to me that TM was the only one involved in the "P*ssing" match, didn't hear LP say one thing derogatory about TM.

You're right, LP didn't say anything bad about TM on NG. But they are clearly at odds with eachother and this seems to have turned into a contest rather than a concerted effort.

Here's my 2 cents based on what I saw between Tim and LP tonight on NG.
It appears to me that LP wanted to do this search, regardless of Tim's feelings. Tim is used to being the big dog and the searchers etc..just do what he tells them, but he calls the shots. Now you have someone that has the resources/pull to buck the system if wanted and LP did.

Tim seems more upset because LP did this when he told him not to. If it were any other way then like most of us Tim would be happy for any area to be searched, just in case.

LP didn't take shots at Tim, Tim did take a lot of shots at LP. IMO this proved to me who was trying to do for Caylee and who is having an ego issue. Unless I hear that LP staged the evidence this is how I feel.

Add to that, Tim keeps pulling out as soon as he get's there, why? It's confusing and seems he has other forces directing his actions. LP is like I think she could be here and I don't give a da*n who cares if I search.

Again this is jmho and I do respect Tim for all he does, I will still donate to TES because he does a lot of good and he has skin in the game. I feel he is sincere in his beliefs but his beef with LP seems ego driven.

:clap::clap: Great post. I agree, people should not stop donating to TES, this is just such a strange case with all the politics and back stabbing and accusing each other of hidden agendas. I like both TM and LP, maybe they will just have to agree to disagree and move on. Maybe TM did get a little Kool-Aid, but who knows how you would act in this mess of a situation, I am sure he was under a ton of pressure from everyone.

I'm off to work, but can't shut my mouth! Gotta make a couple of comments...

But LP did NOT ONE TIME even dare deny what TM said either.....now that was odd.....a fairly harsh accusation from TM, you would like LP would have denied something like that....But NOTHING out of him but a bunch of mumbo jumbo....

:waitasec:

He did not deny it. Even when Nancy gave him a chance to, he did not deny it.

I admire Tim Miller for his dedication and hard work, but it's clear he did himself no favors by trashing others on national TV.

Consider for a moment that the conversation truly took place. IF Leonard said what Tim Miller says he said, then Tim was not trashing anyone. He was reporting what was said to him.

I think the depth of Tim's anger and obvious frustration shows that the conversation DID occur. It's ok if you differ in your opinion. I'm basing mine on Tim's long history of advocacy for crime victims, the fact that he has conducted himself with responsibilty and decorum in the past and the fact that he has never lied about another person this way.

Leonard's past, his great need to share his every move with media, his "fudging" of the truth, along with the fact that he did not deny the conversation, in fact said "YES, I begged." without denying the "let's make a bundle" part of the allegation makes me believe he DID say those things.

As an FYI, I have seen jewelry that Casey made and the beads I saw do not match the beads that were on that cross.

I've been trying to say the same thing. Maybe people will listen to you.

I wish TM wouldnt bad mouth LP. Regardless of how he feels about him, it doesn't look good to do so on National TV. I have yet to hear LP bad mouth TM.

I agree, but something tells me there is more to this story than we know. I said yesterday I thought TM and LP had bruised egos, but it must be something else. I'm beginning to think that maybe LP did say something about making money to TM and I don't want think that.

Take what I say how you like, but know that I have always attempted to provide you with the facts.

Not everything is as it seems.

I see things that occur on the scene and then I watch something totally different being released. The sad thing is that many of the people doing that have the same knowledge but do nothing with it because of their own personal agenda. I cannot discuss certain aspects of this case; however I can tell you that there are people out there that are purposely spinning things and using this child's disappearance to their own benefit.

There are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that you do not know. Please do not make rush judgments in this case.

Things will come out in due time. In the mean time, please remember that this is about Caylee and nothing else.

Thanks for the reminder, crimewriter. High profile cases always seem to bring out the best and worst of human behavior. As a Ramsey case follower I've seen this play out time and time again with sideshow after sideshow--and this case seems very similar in that way. Still, it never ceases to shock me when "the man behind the curtain" finally gets revealed at the end of it all.

Cindy did not have a problem with EquuSearch being there. While she did not agree that they should be looking for a dead Caylee, she did respect the fact that they felt the need to search for her.

Cindy......respect....amusing.
But...JMO

Yes Patty, I just got my refund this morning. So sad.

Why is Cindy the ONLY one with Caylee sightings? So, is she answering the tip line personally?

Good Lord...

Pretty easy to do when she is the one calling in the tips.

  • #994
Yes you're probably right in that Tim identifys with the A's loss. But I honestly believe that Leonard cares and is very emotionally vested in this case as well.
And Tim's spouting off was very unprofessional,I think.

All below JMHO - just thinking out loud. I think some of the difference between LP and TM is where they are coming from as they approach the search for Caylee. We all know the sad place Tim comes from but LP has dealt with KC up close and personal and I think he approaches this with how he has come to feel about KC and what most of us believe she has done to her child - who will NEVER see 3.

IF LP said what TM is saying re (and I can't quote but it's near the end of NG and I heard it live yesterday on WFLA-AM) what Lenny MAY have meant about the money issue just might have been about more publicity would increase donations and not line personal pockets. IIRC, Lenny fronts his and his staff's air fare, room and board - and again, IIRC, he was GOING to pay Black Water but Todd VOLUNTEERED when he was called.

About "planting" and side scan sonar... Todd indicated what they found was under silt (and concrete) and thus appeared to be in the water for some time. There is very little current now but between the time Caylee went missing and now came a LOT OF WATER which moved things around a good bit.

Also, another IIRC, VERY sophiticated SSSonar was used in the seach for Laci Peterson. I know the area was bigger and in most place much deeper, but I am not certain that a very small child in a bag or in pieces that may now be under debris and/or sludge would show up.

I would have felt better (regardless of the justification) if TM had not aired his grievances about LP on national TV. I don't hink I've heard LP say anything really bad about anyone but KC.

This should be about Caylee and I so wish the trolls, misguided gossipers and those who do nothing but rant on other blogs would just do something positive instead. And like many of you, I probably won't watch C&GA on NG. She walks on eggshells around them - she empathizes with victims of crime, but they will sing the same old song and I personally CAN'T STAND to watch CA, let alone listen to her. SO I, for one, WON'T watch. Please forgive the rant - now have to practice what I preach.

Again, AMHO... just want to find baby Caylee and see her killer face justice.

  • #995
OMG - TM is saying that LP told him, "imagine all the money we can make...all the cameras will be here and you can stand there and hold Caylee's skull."......
people - I wish I was making this up! Who to believe? Do you guys really think Leonard would say something like that?

Who to believe? TM or LP?

No, but TM is upset about something.

Another good question would be...What kind of kidnapper takes the child you kidnapped to a McDonald's in the next town over?

Caylee has been spotted a lot at McDonald's. Maybe CA should say she was spotted at a Wendy's next time, it would make it more believable. Not.

If that doesn't prove guilt, I'm not sure what does.

I hate to be in the position of defending Casey, but the news story I read actual said she was told to go back to her cell and she did so without comment. Not quite the same as "calmly" going back to her cell minus being told to do so. I think the point of the story was that she didn't balk at returning to her cell. NG went on and on about her being unemotional as she watched the search. She may well have been but that's not what was reported in the story I read.

This does seem like a sigificant reaction, doesn't it? If Casey was innocent she would know that she didn't put Caylee's body in the river, but she would have no way of knowing that "the kidnappers" didn't.

  • #999
that's why i wanted to hear what the diver on nancy grace had to say about the sonar, nancy cut him off, grrrr

I wanted to hear that too. I think she was just a little ticked off that someone would question TM's expertise.

Sorry. I posted that before I read that she was told to go back to her cell.
