Well I haven't followed the case lately but watched Ron tonight..he sure looks beaten down and stressed. I wonder what he said to Misty after this show...

I looked at the tapes again and I wondered if Ron was medicated? (under a doctor's care)

Almost every TV show or interview has a quote or interview from Tim, refuting
Misty and or Ron's claims. I think it is a shame, because Tim's heart was in the right place.

ITA Baxter!!!!

I think all along TM heart has been in the right place. I think he saw through MC and possibly RC too. (not sure about RC)

Debs, I could be wrong, but I thought that LE had given Misty more than one test, then the FBI, and then Tim. That would make four tests. But, I could have forgotten or got mixed up, maybe someone else will remember.

I used a preposition rather than an adjective to describe the tests, PG. "For" instead of "Four".......he did say she'd failed 4 tests.

We forget that these players have so much more information than we have, there every move is scrutinized and judged, info we are digesting today they may have digested months ago. This is their life 24/7, yes many us have been consumed by Haleigh, but we still sit down with our families and eat dinner, we still watch our children play, watch our children head to school our lives are going forward theirs are at a standstill.

Miss Busy, I assure you I NEVER forget these players have so much more information than we have. I assure you it is my hope they stop prevaricating and tell all that they know, now. The only people preventing them from moving forward, or this case moving forward, is as you say, these players who have so much more information than we have.

I missed the first and second showing, I was busy with my kids.

Thank you Patty G.

Just a few thoughts I am jotting down while watching:

1. FBI and LE never commented on the results of MC's two previous LDT's. They refuse to either confirm or deny if she failed. However, if we look at LE's response to the latest round of tests MC took~ they do say something along the lines as it's no suprise to us, or nothing new. That's our confirmation. She did fail all three, IMHO.

2. LVA interviewer says that MC is "lying" (his own word) about the pee on the blanket.

MC: "I started freaking out and didn't know where Haleigh was" ~ deception indicated.

MC: "looking under beds and closets" ~ deception indicated.

MC's reply to question of: Do you know anything about her going missing? was...Nothing at all ~ deception indicated.

MC: I don't know what happened, I just think ~ inaccuracy (inconclusive)

MC: It's just a suspicion ~ false statement, deception indicated

MC: I don't think Haleigh is dead ~ inaccuracy

Bottom line the LVA interviewer gave his professional opinion that she was involved and she does know something about the disappearance of Haleigh. (I posted this because it answers a lot of question that have been asked about what else was asked on the LVA)

TM states that the polygrapher indicated to him from MC's statements (4 ppl) that there was two or more ppl involved. So that when Haleigh was taken out of the house she doesn't know which one took her to her final destination (IMHO, TM is letting us know that he too thinks she is deceased by the final destination remark).

TH Dr. says MC is pretty disturbed in his clincal opinon.

I don't have a comment about RC's interview at this moment.

This is exactly the list I was looking for.

Did he ask her if Haleigh was dead?

Did he ask if she loves Haleigh?

I thought someone posted something briefly about those two questions last night, but never saw anything else about it.

Guess we will just have to agree to disagree - I understand turning them over to LE but I cannot understand releasing them to the media and having someone who was present "blog" about the test. For the record had Misty passed with flying colors I would of felt the same way. All this did was confuse the issue more, the rose was not new information, I guess it did put pressure on LE to actually do something about the rose, it put pressure on LE to publically haul Tommy and Lindsy in.

I doubt that Misty would have felt the same way if she'd have been able to pass with flying colors. She'd have wanted it on the cover of every newspaper and as many blogs as anyone could possibly read. She wanted to clear her name, which is achieved by positive publicity, not secrecy.

I don't know precisely what you mean by confusing the issue more. Releasing the tapes and the results highlighted Misty's dubious story, which ought to be a good thing. If anything new was learned on that search and from the interviews of the brother and SIL that's also a good thing.

The biggest problem I see with publishing the tapes is the way Misty accused several people of several things she might not have said face to face and she might have burned some of her bridges there. Personally, I would have edited out the parts listing her suspects and the faults she finds in the people she knows before publishing the recordings.

Did anyone else wonder why Nancy kept saying "Ronald, I know you" ? I felt she wasn't being as firm with him as she normally would be to everyone else. I understand that RC has not been implicated in Haleigh's disappearance but he married the one person that LE has shortcomings with.

Is the transcript ready anywhere yet?

For the first time last night Ronald gave me pause when he said he wanted to find whoever "did this" or something to that effect( that is why I want the transcript). Whoever did what?

In my opinion, Ronald looks like he does not mean what he says when he states that he believes Misty. Then again maybe I am looking at this father through rose colored glasses and I want to believe he knows nothing about his daughter's disappearance.

I am keeping my ears open for the news that RC is going on NG again so that I can submit a list of questions that I wish she would ask. Like.....what was Misty wearing when you got home that night? Where was RJ sleeping? When was the last time Haleigh wet the bed to your knowledge? Etc...

I meant to thank the moderators for keeping this thread open for discussion today.

Awake, if he asked her those questions I did not see it and/or it hasn't been reported on yet. Hope that helps.

ETA: They only showed a clip of her stating that she didn't believe that Haleigh was dead, I don't know if she was asked directly a question that prompted that response.

~Misty is the Key~

That is the MANTRA around here. We have heard it OVER & OVER for six months. Misty is the key!

Does anyone here think that Ron and the Cummings family have not heard LE say that?

Did it every occur to anyone that if Ron were to divorce Misty that he would be letting go of the "key" to finding his missing daughter? The LINK to finding his baby girl (per LE)? That if he divorces her she will probably bolt and move to Michigan, or wherever she may go - Canada with Padilla () and he will lose any possible chance of getting any information she MAY have - whether it is conscious or somewhere locked in her brain.

Misty is the KEY - remember? Would any of YOU throw away the KEY to finding YOUR missing child?

So if I understand you correctly, you're advocating controlling Misty by emotional deception and what would have to be nearly a hostage-like situation where she can never go anywhere by herself because he doesn't want to "lose the key"? Ronald Cummings is not an officer of the law and LE seems to be well aware of where she is.

I have two words to say about this interview: UN BELIEVEABLE...

Well, personally I would keep the key as far away from my other children as I could, up until such time that he can be cleared from hurting my missing one. I would NOT marry him and live with him so that he can have a chance to lose one of the other kids and lie about it.

If we consider the fact that this has been going on for months, how do we know that RC has not, a million times, asked MC what she knows about that night? How do we know how many times he has cried, screamed, begged for more information from her only to be met with the same inconsistent answers that she gives LE? What is he to do, "beat it out of her"? I think not, then he would be what some think he is, the bad guy.

So he loves her and stands by her until something concrete tells him that she was involved. I would hope my husband would do the same.

I do believe he is medicated, but I also see him as being just drained. I am sure that he has not had one minute of joy since this began. I can't imagine what that would be like. Now, I may be dead wrong, but this is my opinion. Thank you all for giving me a chance to express it.

I think that TM's heart was in the right place, but I don't think he expected Misty to gab all over the place that she passed this test and so he overreacted. He could have made a very carefully edited statement, but instead he reacted somewhat emotionally and said she "failed miserably" and backed it up by releasing the 99% deception info. I wish he had bitten his tongue and said that the results were inconsistent (sound familiar?), but that additional information was being obtained from the results and was made available to LE. This would have enabled TM & MN to maintain a good relationship with Misty and Ron that might have continued to prove useful. Instead, he burned his bridges. I'm sorry he did this.
I think Nancy G is making an effort NOT to burn hers, which is a smarter approach.

Tim Miller said Misty was telling people about taking the tests.....reporters started contacting Tim about this....so, he released the results to the media and LE. I think Misty was purring about how she passed the tests with flying colors....Tim knew better and set the record straight. Now, people who have praised him and respected him in the past, doubt him and question his motives. Sorry, Haleigh. The man who could possibly find you...who has dedicated his life to finding the lost....is being tossed aside by your father and others. Maybe...someday...

I haven't had the time to back read yet, but are you saying people are now trying to make Tim Miller look bad for the sake of defending those two (Misty + Ron)?

Just wow.

I do not advocate violence towards anyone, but I do think that it's completely unnatural for a parent of a missing child to receive inconsistent answers to his frantic questions and just shrug and be supportive of the said inconsistent answers. Who wouldn't be furious if they had even the slightest doubt that someone close to them keeps lying to them and obstructs the efforts of the police who look for their child although they have been begging and crying for information a million times?

Has anyone noticed that RC blinks alot only during the time he is answering the question about MC withholding any other information? (not that it is saying much, but i have done a little research)

I also noticed MC, and how she is looking off to the left, when answering some questions, and then will make eye contact with the reporter. May be nothing, but i see them both as deceptive. (i noticed these things prior to reading the link i posted below, that is what caused me to look it up ;))

Here is a link about tall tale signs of lying

This is all my opinion!

In the end RC will realize the truth. NG is right on target offering the support RC needs. I think there will be an arrest soon of Misty.

OT: All parents/caregivers of children who turn up missing, IMO with all the negative press and evidence need to arrest based on child negligence/endangerment. Based on witness fact these parents used drugs and past behaviors of RSO companions. The mother of Nevaah should have been arrested in IMO. Why haven't they arrested anyone in that case!~

To be honest, I have never seen one released like this before without it coming from the Sunshine law after it had been filed.

Most private polygraph tests are not discussed in public, but 99% are stemming from an attorney for their client's benefit.

Someone stated that the reason Tim decided to go ahead and put these out was because they were lying about him. I have never seen or read that Tim said anything like that. What I did read is that he said Misty told people she had taken it and discussed it openly.

Well, if what you say is true, and they stem from an attorney for their client's benefit, TM's attorney is MN who also is TN's attorney. Suggests to me that perhaps TN requested the tests and Misty complied (she wrote that she was taking them against her lawyer's advice. She'll get no sympathy from me telling people she was bullied into it.)
