She did state this on the CNN interview, but she didn't indicate what it was for.

Yes, she said it was when he was under age.

I tend to agree. I think if he was a really POI with regard to the capturing of NG, they would be sweeping the hills/mountains behind his road right now. I doubt he brought HG to his wife's parents' home and hid her there...

If his MIL didn't know who NG was (which... I still don't TOTALLY believe. I know they may not be glued to the Today Show, but Tucson is less than an hour from there), maybe this individual wasn't super privy to it either? Obviously if he participated in any way that's awful and he should be arrested and convicted. I'm just doubtful he's going to lead us to NG tonight :/
Did anyone look in the “broken down” van?

Did someone say something a while back about someone giving the front door key to Video Man? That really interests me, if true.

Yep. My jaw is still hanging open.

Had it muted, looked up & thought “gee that looks like John Ramsay.” Lo and behold, it was him. I only caught the tail end; did anyone else?
John Ramsay’s been making the rounds. He was on Fox recently talking about this too. Yup.

They were speculating.

I think the MIL's changing stories is actually due to the confusion of same name father/son.
Sounds like father was detained at traffic stop and cops crashed through door while son was playing Nintendo.

Just my late night thoughts. I wonder if they realized that Nancy needed her medication to live after the fact and she ended up passing. So they decided not to go through with the ransom.
But then why were they taking her to begin with?

That's the thing about this...

It wasn't a violent home invasion or a robbery.

From what we know, they didn't 'rob her house' - and their wasn't evidence of a violent attack inside the home.

It seems that someone went into the home, stole her away - hurt her enough that she left blood stains outside (but no where else).
It seems that the entire objective of all of this was Nancy's abduction.

Im not so sure. You'd think she would know the father had a criminal history as he just got out of serving a 5 year stint. She specially said her SIL only had a criminal history from when he was young. Also, MIL said the person being detained is her SIL. So unless she is really confused, I assume she knows who is who.

Traffic stop relates to the detained person who is her Son In Law. The handcuffed person in the home who was playing video games was her son. (sounds like he was only hand cuffed to secure the scene which is standard)

If anyone hears what the life flight that landed in Tucson that i posted about upthread was for, please message me and let me know. Sometimes local news has information about accidents etc. In my opinion, I will not completely rule out that the flight was carrying ng until sg confirms that her mother has not been located or until I see a news story about someone being life flighted from the area in which i watched the helicopter on radar.

That's nearly an hour from NG's.

That would be a very (very) long way to go to pick up a 4 mile Uber fare.
But that's how Uber works sometimes. You take a passenger that wants to go 30 minutes North. Then at drop off, you take the next passenger and it might be 20 minutes North again. All of a sudden you are an hour away from the starting point.

Then you have to try to get trips going South so you can make your way home.

Plus, if this is a first, it CAN and most likely WILL be used in other circumstances.
Apparently Google worked with LE to extract the videos from NG's laptop or smartphone.

I contacted Tucson Crime Stoppers-like phone number on the 3rd to inform them the camera images should not be that difficult to extract.

For example, I have a $39.00 Ezviz camera I bought on Amazon 10 years ago.

All I need to do (even with no camera connected) is power up my Windows 10 or 11 laptop (I have both) and go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ezviz Studio\MessageImage

There I will find recent 'protected' .JPG images (100s of them).

Then use the Ezviz app on my laptop to access the files - because the .JPG files cannot be opened by just any app. They're protected.

Not sure why it took a week. In fairness, the app for the doorbell camera may have been password protected.

But congrats for finally getting the job done.

It wasn’t confirmed information.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

That's not really a common surname. I'm Hispanic by the way.

“My daughter and he, and the kids, my grandkids, were doing DoorDash when they got stopped here,” Josefina told NewsNation of her son-in-law’s detainment.

I thought the detainee at the traffic stop was her son in law?
And that the person playing video games was her son, who also lives there?

It is not unusual for LE to temporarily handcuff everyone while they execute a search. Doesn’t mean game-playing son is a POI.

They aren't going to discuss people in a hospital who aren't NG. They don't do that. No one will discuss this unless it's her. So we won't hear anything. I live near several hospitals and some involving long distance transport. No they don't go around discussing unless there is a police report (auto accident). The flight was to Tucson, which isn't exactly podunk. We get several dozen a night around here.

There were reports on blood in the house. This certainly was a violent attack They didn't just escort her out to a car.
