People throw evidence out of their vehicles all the time. If the perpetrator is leaving the scene they may no longer feel the need to wear the glove and want to get rid of evidence so out the window it goes. Generally speaking people throw trash out the windows of vehicles without ever giving it a second thought, imo this is no different. Likely nothing in this case but you never know.

Perhaps the suspect was under the false belief that there was no closeup footage of his outfit, and thus LE would have no basis to examine random gloves. I hope so, anyway.

I could be wrong, memory only, I think they said he had a white van, and at one point the neighbor mentioned a white van. The guy was a private contractor delivering for UPS.

I think he did deliver a package, not sure if to NGs or the neighbor.

He was not involved, someone thought he looked like the images, but he is not the perp.

IMO-no. This makes the least sense along with cartels. iMO there is no logical reason an Iranian sleeper cell (especially with the turmoil going on in Iran right now) is going to target a random American celebrity’s mom with zero ties to to the Middle East. IMO I don’t see how that is logical

Zero basis in reality. Due to proximity, you can't fully ignore the potential of cartels (but again, why?!), but beyond that this isn't nation state level stuff. And you're correct: absolutely not now with all that is going on. As of last week, the mullahs wanted to return to JCPOA (Iran nuke deal) where it left off in 2017, you don't kidnap a morning show host's mom if you're trying to diplo your way out of getting turned into glass. Especially with the amount of hardware sitting on your borders. Historically speaking, Iran sucked at direct action in the US and most op were attempts to silence critics/dissidents/etc.

The answer to your question here is the key to this whole thing, imo. Why WOULD someone want to take her? Money/extortion of family members, sadistic cruelty, or...possibly, this person believes NG herself has something that they want, which could be some kind of delusion. This year's film Bugonia comes to mind. Two cousins kidnapped a biotech CEO because they believed she was an alien intent on destroying humanity. We can't logic our way to that kind of answer because it's not logical.

Also, because the McIsaac case was brought up earlier: he used an imitation gun to take a family of four hostage. That could be the case here.

Assuming either of these scenarios work or one like them, what is the abductor going to do with her?

If, as many have speculated, the person on camera was wearing multiple gloves, unsure how helpful this glove will be. Any thoughts? Also seems odd to dispose of it so relatively close to the scene. Wonder how they knew to look at roadsides. Is that typical?

If it was an outer glove it could have both his and NG's DNA. He had a bite light in his mouth so when he removed it he would transfer saliva to the glove.

It looks more like they're looking for items, camera footage, information.
That feels off to me. Unless such searches are happening where no media would have knowledge.
But, seems like actually finding NG would be the priority.

Sounds like he's in the clear and maybe his MIL needs to apologize to him and not so much LE who were following up & only doing their job ?

I don't suspect CP at all, but I have had experience with GLS, they are a really large freight delivery company (think mattress, furniture, etc. The kind that sets up appointments and then delivers bulky items to curbs from large trucks, to the door or in home- white glove delivery. I would guess his tracking circled the area near her home, prior to the crime. Even possible he delivered to her inside or outside her home. I don't know about delivering smaller boxes, maybe (like oversized boxes that could still fit in a van). We def don't seem to know much about the warrant, but they sure did move on from him quickly.

Interesting. I wonder if someone actually delivered something large to the house recently and even assembled it. Like furniture. They may have seen photos of Nancy with Savannah. Maybe recognized SG and asked NG about it who proudly told him she is her mom. That may have given the delivery guy ideas for a kidnapping for ransom. JMO.

What else are they going to do with it? Get rid of it nearer their own location? Hide it under their bed?
They were probably wearing 2 layers anyway. I would definitely get rid of the bulky looking boxing gloves and the mask. MOO

It’s just my unsubstantiated opinion but if the glove that was just found was indeed from the attacker then it doesn’t bode well in regard to NG. If you’ve just kidnapped someone who is still alive then would you be discarding items of clothing so close to the crime scene? I would think you’d be focused on getting her to a secluded location as quickly as possible. On the other hand, if you’ve already disposed of a body and are leaving the scene then maybe you begin tossing out gloves you no longer need…

Agreed I really think LE is grasping at straws and has no clue where NG could be located. Hence why they need to find the abductor and be able to either retrace their steps or get a confession. JMO

Super far-fetched thought, but another motive -- maybe NG/SG is supposed to be an example to other reporters..."watch out, or what happened to NG will happen to your loved one." National reporters have potentially been put on notice. Will they not pursue certain stories now? Will they back down if threatened? Of course, the abductor has not (yet) drawn any such link, but that could happen down the road.

Which is disappointing.
I go back to my post a little while ago about use of scent dogs. They have a million things with NG's scent, and TC/AG too for that matter. Why wouldn't they just perform sweeps, even without more knowledge, in areas where they may find SOMETHING, even if just an item, etc.

The MIL said on camera that she didn’t think it was him and didn’t look like him at all.

Hmmm, the only problem with that theory is it wasn't much of a dry run if he still had to figure out the flowers to cover the camera. Seems like he would have figured some stuff out about the front of the house on the dry run. But maybe he was testing to see if motion sensors lights, came on or if by walking up he hears a dog, etc. So, just initially testing out. Doesn't want to have bag of stuff on him if an alarm is triggered or lights pop on..

The flowers are f'in weird. I've seen teen porch pirates who navigate a ring cam with more ease than this flower move. Why do a little "oh " dance and look for something to cover it when you could JUST COVER IT WITH YOUR HAD.

Seriously - you can see a ring from the curb in my experience, roll around that corner and immediately cover it, WHY DILLYDALLY IN FRONT OF IT?!
