His thoughts on this case are interesting. I could listened to him talk for hours with this level of profiler experience. It's fascinating to me.

BE also interviewed him and just let him talk. Well worth the listen. IMO

I really liked Brian Entin's interview with Jim Clemente. I found his opinions interesting and thought provoking ... and it was also striking when he slowed down and said he shouldn't go further with ideas.

I thought this may have played in the role of having Savannah and family publicly seen adding to the memorial...an attempt to draw him out.
I thought this too, especially since they have cut down media traffic/access to that street. Might be easier to see if there were repeat visitors to the memorial if the area isn't so congested.

Yes, I recall that part of the conversation. It made my stomach drop. He was measured and careful. IMO

Both Clemente in this interview and CeCe Moore in recent ones have stated that the house should have plenty of DNA.

There is sort a a disconnect with that thought and what has been reported though.
Both said and implied they just hope that the crime scene technicians were competent enough to get it.

I found the interview with Sgt. Cross to be particularly interesting. I thought he was incredibly professional and I liked his demeanor, though it's obvious to me that he is being very cautious with his word selection. I found it interesting that he seemed to lean toward the perp potentially being local and his thoughts about a potential burglary were also intriguing to me.

Has any one thought about the possibility that Latana Man is someone with a show business background?

Some here have felt there was something odd and off about his appearance and clothing choices. It is like he is wearing a Walmart crime costume. Presenting as what he thought a criminal should look like. Maybe something seen from TV or movies.

Do we see what looks like alteration to his appearance with make up or something else under the masks? Someone familiar with stage make up perhaps?

All the masks and layers of clothing. Could be hiding other costumes and disguises? Peel off an outer layer and he looks like a maintenance man or delivery guy. Peel off another layer and we are looking at nurse, doctor, police uniform.

And we know that SG is in show business and NG was involved with some of her TV specials. There had to be Hollywood production types involved?

IDK, just brainstorming and throwing out an idea. Please feel free to tear it apart.
I haven’t ever thought that, but could be someone involved in the production when SG’s show came out there. I wonder if they had local production help. I don’t see a lot of the show business flair in lantana man that others see, but production folks are behind the scenes.
What I do see is preppy pants. Even if they turn out to be from Walmart too — a preppy style pants. For what it’s worth. JMO

Could layers of clothing on a female give this appearance?
I don’t see it. As a personal trainer I’m attuned to female muscular development—ie women who lift very heavy (not bodybuilders) and lose their curves and feminine look, but MOO. If even muscles couldn’t create that look, I don’t see clothing this side of Hollywood could accomplish that.

Edit: by Hollywood, I’m referring to a lot of money being put toward special effects and costumes. Not condoning the perp in show business theory stated earlier.

Well darn now I have to listen. I’m not the fan of videos and podcasts (or these news orgs) as others are, but you’ve piqued my curiosity with this profiler giving off vibes with what he says and doesn’t say.

It starts roughly at the 29:50 timestamp for those that want to go right to it.
Very measured....then he refuses to elaborate or give his answer.
It is obvious he knows something....It is up to us to read whether that is a good something or bad something based on that Q from BE.
It also looks like they edited/spliced the clip right after that.

Yes, I have thought exactly this. MOO.

I was just watching BE latest utube post interviewing a sergeant from the Tucson PD. They touched on the theories of one suspect being able to commit the crime, as well as whether or not if NG passed at the house, would the suspect have removed the body. I’ve been thinking about something further, especially in light of there being no immediate response to the 1M reward. If there was only one perpetrator, what if something happened to them after they successfully removed NG and held her somewhere else? What if they passed? Car accident, sudden MI? Or even 2 perps in an accident, or an argument between them about next steps that led to their deaths. Or what if they were arrested for another matter?

Because the abduction seems to be so out of line with “usual” kidnappings for ransom, that holding someone (especially with health conditions) for this long is reportedly very difficult, and the fact that no one has come forward, really makes me consider that something bizarre and not even on the list of hypotheticals has happened.

Moo NG could have been held and her abductor(s) involuntarily abandoned her. Maybe LE should look closely at other people who have been reported missing, recently incarcerated and/or deceased John Does found since 2/1.

What makes you think that?!
The perp feels like the kind of person who's reading our posts and gloating about how smart he/she is and enjoying having that power. Kind of like the arsonist watching the fire or a perp who appears to be unrelated to the crime gives MSM interviews, even though he's the guilty one.

But all of this is purely an assumption on my part. You certainly don't have to agree with me. :)

I just dont understand why people make fun of the clothes he wore. Is there Kidnapper Couture? He selected common, nondescript garments that can be purchased in various locations perhaps to avoid being detected. What does a sophisticated criminal wear? JMO

I've heard the same about the bedsheets being missing, but have never seen any confirmation. It might be rumour.

If bedding was missing, where was the DNA that was supposedly on the bed found?
Maybe they forgot the pillowcases!

I have thought this on other cases—esp on the Brian Kohberger threads before they got him! IMO that one seemed made-for-true-crime-TV from the start.
But this one I am clueless what the perp is like. Is it someone who is excited by the idea of getting away with a crime or someone who had a financial reason to take Nancy Guthrie or what????

New: Savannah Guthrie visited NBC “Today” studio this morning to visit colleagues.
In statement, NBC says: “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.”

I can't shake the feeling that the 'one bitcoin guy' was onto something. I do not believe that he saw NG alive in Mexico, I see that as a red herring. Was he involved? JMO.

Hopefully, LE has checked this out. Hope they did not just discard it.

Which guy is that?
